Darwin winked at Larki before he ran back 10 feet. He stretched his body, and took off running towards the lake. He curled his body to make a cannon ball once he was in the air. He went below the surface of the water and sucked some water in his mouth. When he came up, he curved his lips in a circle, and shot the water in Larki's direction, it missed her, the fountain landing a couple inches ahead of her. Darwin swam to her laughing. His long fur hanging over his face. He could not see where he was going. he wiped his head back and his eyes became clear. He swam up to Larki, and licked her muzzle. "This is the life!" he said allowed looking at his mate with a smile.

"Its not odd.. It's... fun!" Odin said, remembering that Akuma never got the chance to play. Even Odin played, and he wasn't the kind of dog that you thought would play. "Watch this" Odin said before he went under the water, he swam around for a second untill he saw a big fish, with one swift bite the fish was dead in his mouth and he bobbed back to the surface "See! Its are kinda fun.. Hunting!" Odin said with the fish still in his mouth. He swam to the side of the lake and dropped the fish at the side, we swam back in the direction of Akuma. "We could also race" Odin said with a smirk on his face. He was feeling a bit competitive, and he knew he would beat Akuma, seeing as she never swam before.

Akuma heard race, and her mind leaped to competition. She grinned, and stepped the rest of the way into the water. Just because she had never played in the water, didn't mean she had never swam before. Swimming was part of her training. She let the current move past her, moving her thick pelt in waves like fields of wheat. "Ready?" Her face was serious, with the hint of a smirk.

Larki's smile was plastered to her face, as her fur was to her skin by water. "It really is," Larki sighed happily. She paddled around Darwin, watching him from all angles. "Isn't it cool?" Larki said suddenly, stopping in front of him and splashing him a little. "The dog paddle - its named after us cause we can't swim any other way!" Larki pointed out, feeling a little silly for pointing out something that everyone already knew. She tilted her head to the side, her forest green eyes watching Darwin, a thoughtful look on his face.

(I just assumed she didn't swim xD my bad, odin will be surprised. lol)

Odin's tail wagged with excitement under the water. "First one to the end of the lake and back wins." Odin ready himself he relaxed his body. "On the count of three....one....two....THREE!" thats all it took and Odin was flying threw the water, his feet paddling him as fast as they could. He couldn't see Akuma, because he was kicking up to much water. 'Ive got to prove myself to her' Odin thought in his head, wishing his would win this race.


Darwin said jokingly "Are you sure thats the only way we can swim?" He tried laying on his back and swimming, he had seen the humans do it before, but it didn't work for him, he went under the water, his nostrils filled with water. He went back to the surface and jumped out of the water sneezing. ACHOO! ACHOO! He shook of his long fur leaving droplets of water all over the dirt and grass. He laid on his back and rubbed it all around. The sun felt warm on his dark fur. He laid on his belly, and looked at Larki still in the water. He smiled at her. Larki always made Darwin smile.

Larki almost choked, she was laughing at Darwin so much. She crawled onto the bank and rolled around in the dirt, beaming at Darwin. She wandered over to Darwin innocently. As he stared at her, she winked at him and shook all the dirty water out of her fur. "Oh, woops, sorry!" Larki said sarcastically, laying down next to Darwin.

[How will we do the mating? Like, 'They went behind a bush' or something? x3]

Akuma went under the water, cutting down her resistance in the water and zooming ahead. She had been trained by having to fetch pieces of meat from the bottom of a huge tub of water, so she had learned what most dog's couldn't do. To hold her breath. She raced on, moving ahead with her lack of resistance, and reached the edge of the lake in no time at all, turning to continue to the other side again.

Thunder landed on the other side, launching forward as he ran. He barked, zig zagging around the trees. "Nobody can match a grey hound!" He howled, launching forward with a large jump. The grey hound barked. Birds chirping as they flew. The forest seemed silent.
