Still working on/thinking about these kids! Think I'm going with kitsucorns (b/c... they started entirely because I misread another word as "kitsucorn," so.)

Can I get more shoujo than the bottom right?

Kitsucorns as a whole tend to be very territorial--that is to say, they adopt an area as "theirs" and take care of it as they see fit. They may help passerby, other species that call the same area home, or nourish plants (or slack off and nap all day!) That is not to say they are anti-social! This kind of behavior can range from a small community of kitsucorns that live in an old forest, or a band of trickster-thieves in a swamp, or a lone stoic guardian of a snowy mountain. There are many possibilities!

But wandering kitsucorns are not unheard of! Some may travel the world for a variety of purposes. In fact, I kind of have a mascot character in mind that's travelling to find out about how different kitsucorns live all over the world.
