"No, no, no, no. It's fine! I swear, I just- oh.. Yes sir." Sheila mumbled, voice slowly becoming quieter making it now clear that she was speaking to someone on the phone. "I need this, please just give me another chance. Yes, thank you sir. You won't regret it"

Locus listened carefully, brow slightly raised as he took in what little details he could overhear.

[Dethuma]

Sheila exhaled slowly and let go of her phone not reacting when it collided with the floor. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair and messed it up "What've I gotten myself into?"

"Something the matter?" Locus asked finally as he stepped out of hidding.

[Dethuma]

Sheila jumped when she heard Locus, instantly smoothing herself out and smiling "Oh no, nothing's wrong sweetie. Nothing that you need to worry about" she hummed gently.

"Don't 'sweetie' me. You sounded like you were on the loosing end of an argument with an employeer." Locus stated.

Sheila was silent for a moment "That's what was happening yes but it's nothing you need to concern yourself with. Why are you up anyway?" she asked in attempts to change the subject.

"Uncomfortable with the clothes i was sleeping in and other reasons. And obviously it had something to do with us or past problems." He stated.

Sheila nodded but allowed Locus to continue on the subject of her phone call "It was either actually, they're just having some budget cuts and they'll need to cut a few people and with my recent tardiness and the such.." she trailed off and a made a few hand gestures to finish. "I also had a small fiasco with some cops which isn't good on my part because of parole and what not. Everything may seem like a big mess but I have it all under control"

"I see." Locus muttered silently as he faintly nodded in understanding.
