Elaine's face fell and she frowned, her eyes saddening a bit. She looked to the side. "Sorry.. That was sort of my fault.." she mumbled, feeling at blame for the sudden change in the conversation.

"No, it was my fault. I was the one who killed him anyways." He growled and blinked away little tears that formed, sniffing a bit and trying to hide the face that he was kind of crying

Elaine's eyes widened a little as she heard him sniff, and she looked up at him quietly. She sighed, reaching up and gently brushing a few escaped tears away from his cheeks. "..I'm sorry." she said in a hushed tone, withdrawing her hand.

He blinked and looked a bit surprised, his eyes resting on her as the back of his neck tingled a bit at her touch. "I'm fine... You're fine..." He muttered and looked down, a bit embarrassed, "I loved my brother..."

Elaine stared at the ground sadly and guiltily. "I suppose we're both guilty of the same thing then, just in different degrees..." She said quietly, referring to her betrayal.

A shadow cast across the land. Large enough to block out the sun as the creature landed on a cliff. She stood tall and frowned, her curling horns twisting from her head and her wings folded on her back. She raised her head high.

He looked up at her and quickened his pace to join beside her. "What do you mean?" He asked a bit confused, rubbing his face with his ponytail

Aiko snorted and woke up, she sat up looking around. Drool was threatening to fall, but she wiped it away.

Elaine shook her head, trying to shake off the thought. "Family stuff.. I was left in the dark a lot and got tired of it so I left. I joined the very people who killed off part of my family purely because of my anger and contempt. I suppose I'm just as guilty as you are in this area.." she murmured in reply.

Synette sighed, doing well to take note of the silence that enveloped the room, as well as the lack of King's presence. Though she tended to be confident and proud, part of her confidence and security fled her when he wasn't around. She frowned slightly.
