Welcome or should I say welcome back ^^
As to answer your question, yes they are very much still a sima even if they do happen to be on the older lines and you can do with them as you can with any other sima or closed adopt i general as long as it keeps up to the specific rules for simas

Actually, that's not true. I'm not sure if you're allowed to age someone else's sima if you're not an artist, but you can age your own simas, as long as you don't change their design at all, and you think you're capable of transferring it correctly. You just have to ask qual if you can be added to the aging lines.
