"Come one guys." Azure said. Cross Vine used her magic to shoot arrows and make a huge cage so Chrysalis couldn't escape and Blue Sword held her sword next to Chrysalis. Azure Moon knew she had no magic or flying ability as an earth pony, but she knew that what she was thinking of, was going to work.

i looked at Chrysalis with my sword in my belt, my front hooves crossed and my wings beating as my griffin tail swayed in the air as i took every wing beat, my antlers almost ready to ram her if necessary.

Sugar Opal had found a cave and dropped her load of changelings off there. She blocked the exit then began to fly towards the castle. "I need to check if the Princesses are safe!"

((I'm... just gonna say Celestia was here this whole time...))

Beam after beam of magical energy was launched from the castle, destroying every changeling in its path. Celestia had always preferred peace, delegating any combat-related tasks to Luna, but she didn't keep this kingdom for a thousand years by being frail. She zipped around the castle, propelled by powerful wings, staying close to the windows and firing attacks every few seconds.

Though she longed to go directly out on the battlefield and fight in the middle of the action - her ponies were in danger! - she restrained herself. Her guards insisted that she stay, and she could see why. Equestria didn't need her to stay standing, not as long as her sister was around, but should she die, much chaos would likely result.

Princess Twilight Sparkle zapped beams at the changelings careful to not hit actual ponies. Suddenly changeling appeared right in front of her, as herself. She reared and struck it, but it did the same thing. She zapped it and kept on running, towards Celestia. "Princess Celestia! Are you okay?" she zapped a few more changelings that had snuck up behind her.

Hearing Twilight's voice, Celestia turned her head towards its source, though she still fired a few, weaker, attacks at the nearest changelings. "I'm fine, Twilight," she called. "Are you?"

Twilight Sparkle felt a changeling on her, and she kicked and reared to get them off. "I'm fine! But we all have to get to safety!" she exclaimed, sending a few more beams out.
