Teaselclaw nodded as Shadowfern spoke. "I think Thistle would work for a molly or a tom," she mewed. "I think it all depends on what they look like." She smiled at the idea of tiny bundles of fluff bouncing around camp. "Do you know how many you'll have?"

Shadowfern purred, tail flicking lazily. "Sadly I have no idea, I feel as big as a badger, but aparently my mother was the same, but I was the only kit in my litter. I'm hoping to at least have a few kits though, no matter they will be beautiful." She purred happily and licked her large belly. "I'm hoping for a she cat or two, I've heard they are easier to handle then toms."

Ashmoon tilted his head looking at the pretty she cat. "Wait but aren't you a queen right now? Or just not nursing or expecting?" The dark warrior was rather confused but was trying to be polite, honestly perplexed by the she cat's situation. He thought she had a mate, but he honestly didn't know....

Teaselclaw chuckled at Shadowfern's comment. "Yes, I've heard the same," she mewed. "I suppose toms would be more rowdy and wild, though I wouldn't know." She looked down at her paws, letting out a small sigh. How she desired kits of her own! She looked back up at Shadowfern, smiling again. "It shouldn't be long now."

Rainstar stood, stretching. "I am if you feel comfortable going out. Smokepaw's near the entrance by Smokycloud last I saw." She angled her head towards the front of camp and indeed the two grey toms were there.

Sparrowclaw gingerly padded back to where he last saw the group and found the apprentice-mentor pair bearing prey a plenty. He stood off to the side with the two squirrels he caught dangling from his jaws. "'Ooksh 'ike sssh'omeone had a goo' firss' day of training?"

Gatorfoot replied with a raspy laugh. "I know I gave my mother and mentor quite the hassle when I was a little one."

Bearkit hopped up, "Please, could I have a story Dappleshade? I'll be good I promise!" he mewed, eyes shining.

"What about..." Snowpaw paused and chewed on her mouse thoughtfully. "Pine for a tom-kit and Maple for a she-kit? Either would go good with Thistle I think."

Dappleshade shook her head. "Good point, I did give the other kits quite a hassle, always was a fighter." The old she cat gave a raspy laugh before looking Bearkit over, a slight smile on her scarred muzzle. "Fine fine, humm lets see." She adjusted herself and looked the tiny kit over, blinking slowly. "Any special request for today. It's hard to choose just one."

Shadowfern dipped her head smiling. "I like that, thank you very much." She purred lying on her side in the warm day, eyes half closed and content. "Aren't you supposed to be training today Snowpaw. No cat should be cooped up in the clan forever." The queen was passive aggressively complaining about her own situation, too large to go for a walk in the woods.
