Born the second daughter of the main family of the hyuga clan Yuzuki was always under the weight of her parents expectations. As a child she was instructed on her duties as a hyuga clan member especially one who may or may not become head of the family one day. Even though she was four years younger than her older sister (Ren) Yuzuki's combat abilities rivalled her sisters and made her father reconsider which girl would inherit the title of 'head of the hyuga clan'. At the age of ten Yuzuki was pitted against Ren in a battle for the right to become the head of the family, Yuzuki lost on purpose. Rather than claim a title she didn't want and lose her sister to resentment and bitterness Yuzuki threw the fight and settled for being just another member of the hyuga clan. That desire quickly died though as at the age of thirteen Yuzuki lost her sister to the kyuubi attack and in that same night lost and gained everything, though to her what she gained was next to useless. For years after her sisters death Yuzuki separated herself from her family, she blamed them for her sisters death and refused to speak with them in this time she tried to drown her sorrows in missions taking anything she could get her hands on from finding lost cats to even talking her (and her team's) way onto a few escort missions. With this attitude Yuzuki and her teammates quickly climbed to the rank of chunin together closer than any family blood ties or no. It was her teammates that comforted her while she dealt with her loss, who pushed and eventually succeeded in getting her to reconnect with her family, and became her second family. Now an adult and a jonin Yuzuki has reconnected with her family though she still argues with them over becoming head of the house, an honour that she never wanted. Through out the village she has also become known as 'Lotus Petal' for the tattoo on her shoulder and for her use of the gentle fist.

fighting stlye-like most hyuga clan members Yuzuki excels in taijutsu and more specifically the gentle fist style. Normally due to the advantage of her byakugan Yuzuki is always watching chakra levels her quick mind deriving the quickest way to defeat her opponent even planning while she's in the midst of an attack. In both ninjutsu and taijutsu Yuzuki is above average but she struggles slightly with genjutsu.
preferred weapons- Yuzuki uses senbon in conjuncture with her byakugan to quickly incapacitate her victims at a distance and though she does carry kunai and other typical ninja tools but rarely uses them opting instead for hand to hand combat.
appearance- the things of most note are her modifications which include three piercings on her right ear and five on her left, a navel piercing and finally the pink-red tattoo of a lotus flower on her right arm. Besides these Yuzuki possess the typical white eyes and dark hair of the hyuga clan she has kept her hair short citing reasons of easier movement in combat though many suspected it was just another way for her to distance herself from the conservative and traditional style her family was accustomed to. She normally wears her forehead protector on the sleeve of her left arm.

Born the only child of a single mother, Jade learned from a very young age to care for herself and to a lesser extent, others. As a child, she would often be left home alone due to her mother's work and was expected to be able to care for herself, make dinner, prepare the next days lunch, and finish her homework. While it wasn't conventional, Jade developed a good work ethic because of it. At school, Jade felt a little disconnected from the other kids and through one or two childish misunderstandings became the target of her entire class. It was in this hostile environment that a young Jade discovered her passion for fighting. Not only for herself, but for other kids who found themselves outcast from the elementary school yard. It was in this group of outcasts that Jade found friends. They were people she cared for and would defend to the very end, a conviction which quickly found the fourth grader suspended for breaking a sixth graders nose and giving him a black eye. The fight had been started after the sixth grader in question had begun picking on one of Jade's friends and Jade (being Jade) had come to the rescue. Her mother was horrified by what she'd done, so she enrolled Jade in a recreational kickboxing class in order to give her an outlet for all her pent up energy and hopefully prevent anymore incidents. Ever since her first class, Jade was head over heels for the sport and gladly submerged herself in it on the condition that her fighting be confined to the ring.
It wasn't until junior high however, that Jade was introduced to her second passion; art and more specifically drawing. A mix up in her schedule ended up with Jade in art rather than her mothers choice of home economics. Thankful and yet terrified of the switch, Jade went into class with fairly low expectations. Though it was difficult, Jade found a sort of peace in her pencil and paper completely different from the exhilaration of kickboxing and yet just like kickboxing she enjoyed it immensely. Her mother, though disappointed that Jade hadn't tried home economics, was supportive of her new and non destructive passion.
Being from a single parent home, Jade knew that money for college would one day be a concern. Not to mention her multiple hospitalizations and entrance fees for competitions, Jade knew that it was costing her mother a lot of money. It wasn't until she was seventeen that her coach suggested she apply for a scholarship at Rosewall Academy. A solution to not only ease the financial burden on her mother, but also to develop her skills.

The offspring of a demon and an angel Lamya has always been torn between revelling in her sins and repenting for every wrong she's committed. Depending on her contracted mage Lamya's appearance and personality will shift, if someone with a good heart takes hold of her key Lamya will become more docile and remorseful of course if someone with a darker heart contracts her Lamya looses her conscious and becomes extremely malicious striking out against anyone who comes near her. Despite her ever changing personality Lamya has always been constant in not thing, she is loyal to her contracted mage and will never disobey an order or betray them in battle.
angelic physiology- like satan soul this type of magic allows Lamya to adopt the strength and abilities of her angel side including light energy manipulation, wing manifestation, and weapon creation (sword & lance). Like most djinn, Maris grew up in a nomadic environment always traveling from place to place looking for work, money, and food. In order to mask their more unsavoury dietary choices the djinn presented themselves as "men for hire", completing many of their jobs in a bloody fashion. Raised with a pistol in one hand and a dagger in the other Maris quickly grew proficient not just with her weaponry but also her natural weapons so that at the age of ten she was capable of either capturing or killing a full grown man. Maris had no qualms about killing after all she killed to feed and survive, the only family she had was her clan and from them she learned the meaning of loyalty and family, at least she should have. At the age of twelve however all of that changed, Maris had gone out hunting on her own as a sort of rite of passage and though she was successful upon her return there was no one to congratulate her. While she was out her family had disappeared wether the victims of hunters, monsters, or if they'd simply left her Maris would never know for certain. Left on her own the twelve year old searched for her family going off of whispers and rumours and usually coming up empty. Traveling from place to place Maris began to loose hope of ever finding her family when in a small port town she heard rumours of a small group of mercenaries in spain. Their numbers and bloody reputation matched that of her family and so the fourteen year old djinn found a ship sailing to spain and simply added herself to the cargo as a stow away. Maris remained hidden in the cargo for seven days and then (as it usually does) fate intervened, the ship she had stowed away on became the new victim for the Keto's Vault and her monstrous crew. It didn't take the pirates long to discover her but once they did Maris was quick to use her natural and unnatural defences resulting in one or two members of the crew in a coma and another with a dagger through their hand. Perhaps because she was a monster or perhaps she showed such a vehement desire to live the captain spared her life and took her up as a cabin boy. Though it took time Maris has warmed up to the crew and even thinks of them as family, she's accepted that her old family (if not dead) has abandoned her and though she tries not to show it, it has left a scar on her heart. Like any self-respecting pirate however Maris has grown into a strong, wild, and adventurous young woman whose heart (like her name) belongs to the sea.

djinn- a creature most associate with big blue genies and three wishes, a djinn is not so 'heaven sent'. A vampire-like creature covered in what appear to be tattoos, a djinn can send a person into a coma with a single touch where that person will experience their hearts desire. The cost for such an ability however is dear, the longer a djinn banishes their victim into a coma the more taxing it is on the djinn itself leaving the creature greatly weakened and open to attacks. A djinn will normally use this power to render their victim defenceless while they feed on their blood, but they can also use their speed and strength to subdue prey much bigger then themselves. Until a djinn attacks you wouldn't be able to tell that they were anything but human, only when they use their powers do their tattoos and glowing blue eyes surface. The only way to kill a djinn is to stab the heart with a silver blade dipped in lambs blood however blood loss from regular weapons will slow them down considerably.

Neitehr good nor bad Satomi even in this troubling time is a purveyor of knowledge, riddles, and rhymes. Known by many as the caterpillar, Satomi would often be found lounging on her mushroom offering advice to any who asked with a breath heavy with smoke. Now that her home has been crumbled away however Satomi has become something a vagrant, wandering from place to place looking for a new home. Most times she can be found languidly relaxing on a stump, on the steps of someones home, or on the side of the road it seems that the doom of an entire world isn't enough to get this woman out of her smoky haze. Now that most of wonderland is split down the middle Satomi as usual hasn't chosen a side, preferring instead to sit on the sidelines and watch.
