Marquine Adopts - Artist Positions (Posting is open)

Postby Nodell » Tue Oct 27, 2015 2:18 pm

Basic Information wrote:
A Marquine is a mixture of a horse (Clydesdale) and a deer, having the body build of a horse and the facial features of a deer. Despite their rather klutzy looking appearance, Marquines are known to be quite graceful. They may have large hooves, but they are quite light on them, taking almost deer-like steps. They are commonly found wild near marshes (which is where they get their names from) that don't have excessive water.

Marquines tend to live in small groups of 5-15, with the majority of members being female. There can be more than one male per a heard, but this is uncommon unless the dominate male has a son. In the case that a male is born to a female in the heard, the child will be regarded as a second leader later on in life. At lot of the time the son will move on to make his own heard, so the conflict of which male is more dominate doesn't occur often.

Extra Breed Information
Diet - Herbivore; mostly grasses and leaves.
Horns - Their horns are used to show dominance and for self defense.

Rarities
Common - No edits to base coat, manes/tails, or horns, female.
Uncommon - Small edits to manes/tails, male.
Rare - Edits to horns and/or base coat.
Very rare - Custom lined

Rules
• Respect all members, staff and non-staff.

• You have an unlimited number of Marquines you may own, but please try to let others have some!
• Don't ask for customs, please, these will be given out to random members that have contributed to the community in someway.
• No foul language on this thread or any other Marquine related thread.
• Do not ask to be a staff member if positions are not open!
• You may RP your Marquines in human, antho, or in quad.

Artist Rules/Notes
• You have unlimited customs, but please try not to go overboard with this!
• Make at least 8 females before making a male!
• They will always be natural colors (with the exception of the eyes), and have semi-natural designs.
• If the colors are found on horses, then they are okay to use
• If you are ever unsure if your design is okay to post, please PM me before posting it.

Breeding Rules/Notes
• Your Marquines may be in FxF or MxM (. . . etc.) relationships, but only males and females can breed. (See exception below)
• The only way for a same-sex couple to breed is if you have a special fruit, called a "pommeail," which turns one of the Marquines male/female temporarily (depending on their current genders; MxM - one turns female; FxF - one turns male). These items will be given out during events in large numbers, so they shouldn't be hard to come by!
• Your Marquines may breed as many times as you want, but the mare has a week cool-down.
• Is is up to you if you want your Marquines to be loyal to a partner, they may breed with anyone if you so chose.
• You don't have to wait any amount of time after you win a Marquine to breed them.

That is one of the most amazing drawings I have ever seen...um, how do I adopt one? I don't want anything fancy. Perhaps a simple stone gray with blue eyes and darker marking for camouflage like spotting and/or stripes that are faintly noticeable...I don't know.
I AM BACK! I've got my new laptop ... alright it's not store new, but it was a gift to me so it's new to me.

I'm a Rooster!

Roosters are neat, organized, alert, perfectionist, scientific, responsible
Sometimes they can be critical, egotistical, rough, opinionated.

Aww, thank you. <3 The ones available for adoption are those that are under the main drawing. quq If you want a custom, it has to either be earned or won though an event (which we will have a fall event coming up soon <3). quq
