Shortly, they arrived to the camp and Jett walked towards Dawn. "This wolf wants to join our pack," He barked, pointing at the stranger with his nose. The delta nudged Aztec, who was still laying on the ground and sat down next to her, having an eye on the stranger.

aztec shook her head, wanting to just fall apart and start to cry. she looked up at jett, eyes pleading for freedom of the terror she was in. she looked at dawn, eyes not changing as she came over with cranberries. as much as she hated the foul taste of berries, she opened her mouth and swallowed the berries, coughing a few moments before everything went black.
aztec pounced over jett, her tiny paws not holding her pup long enough, and she fell in the dirt. the laughs and squeals of older pups broke her, causing her to want to kill one of them. i'll show them! echoed, and she looked around before standing up and pouncing onto jett playfully.
jett's muzzle broke the darkness, and her eyes shot open. the impact of sunlight caused her to wince. she looked at jett, letting out a wet cough as she slowly raised her head. jett...I've always liked you-no, loved you...and it will always be that way... she said in a whisper, coughing to clear her throat. and don't let anyone make you forget that.
