Those exclamation marks look alarming.
The thing about this is, if what Scat sees is a dog or other animal, it could hear us when we talk, like last time. But if we don't tell Scat to stay, he might go gallivanting off like last time.

I agree, I at first posted to be quiet and say nothing then decided against it
I think regardless he will tell us what he sees, so I'm ruling that out. So its is up to us to trust in scat not to walk off (considering last time a cat was dying and this time it is not the case)
but hrm I must thing. He is used to the streets so if he does wander he has a chance to survive and escape
