I wouldn't say it's an argument. We're informing the OP that this is not hidden by any means. If you don't know about it, it's not because of such a thing but other trivial factors (ie. not in your school lessons, not local).

hehe this needss to be bumped and omg i found an article about it in a really old magazine while we were in texas history (i hate learning about a state that ive only lived in for 7 months and will never call home) we were doing collages i took it of coarse someone almost ripped it up.It was about a group of people who went back 5 years ago to pick up trash and clean up for a day.

Okay, just because you watched a show on SciFi does not mean it is "hidden."

They're now comparing what happened with the reactors in Japan to Chernobyl. They're classifying it as four currently, while Chernobyl was the highest, a seven.
Nuclear plants interest me greatly for some reason; they are dangerous, though. There's so many things that can go wrong, such as what happened with Chernobyl and their 'bad management.'

Japan will most likely not be another Chernobyl.

Chernobyl was run by a corrupt government who did not follow basic safety protocol. The plant was practically falling apart and riddled with hazards. It was only a matter of time before the plant melted down. And when it did the government not only sent in untrained soldiers with no protective gear at all other than the clothes on their backs, but they tried to cover it up.

Japan has been a nuclear country for a while. They're attentive to safety regulations and perform regular inspections and drills. They know what they're doing and know what to do in the event of an emergency.
