Brief Personality: Ruby is the type of girl who is out for herself. If she helps someone, then they either payed her, or she get's something out of it as well. If someone is in her debt, then they can be sure she'll collect on any 'favors' they may owe her. She doesn't have much morality, the lines of 'good and bad' not existing for her, as everything is less 'should I do this?' and more 'Do I get something from this?'.
Occupation before plague: Assassin, some have called her a 'hitman' in the past, to which she became offended and killed them, claiming an assassin is far more skilled than the common hitman. (assassins are real in today's day and age, however they are known as 'mechanics' within the U.S government, and other names in different countries, the universal term is just easier and requires less research to figure out the names in other countries, especially seeings as she's from a small made up one of little importance)

History: Born to a poor family in a small country of little importance, Ruby's parent's sent her to a somewhat mysterious company in exchange for a large sum of money. Because of this, her childhood was far different from that of a normal child. The company taught her things no child should know, how to deceive, how to kill, how to kill quickly, how to kill silently, and hot to kill slowly and painfully. Without having normal parent's to teach her right from wrong, she grew up a cold blooded killer, not being phased in the slightest by taking another's life. When the breakout first started Ruby was sent to new york to assassinate an important official, though her kill was taken by a shambling creature. However, task done she tried to contact her 'employers' to inform them, but couldn't get through. She decided to stay in new york for a few weeks, unbeknownst to her that her trip would be extended by more 'kill-thief's. While on her forced vacation, she noticed more and more of new yorks population having an increased hunger, and appearing less alive. Using the skills she learned growing up, she survived on her own for quiet a while, before learning of and joining crucial recently.
