Okay, that's fair enough. I just was thinking that since not everyone reads quickly/has a lot of free time, they might not be able to read all of the fics if they're super long, but on the other hand who can write a truly prohibitively long fic in like 2 weeks?

well, some can write a lot in a short period of time. look at nanowrimo. people can crank out hundreds of thousands of words in a month. i'm not saying we're going to do that, and two weeks is rather short, sweet, and to the point. Maybe one-shots have a limit of 10,000 words and Multi-chapter fics can be maxed out at 15,000-20,000 words. So those who don't actually want to write that much have room to breathe, and those who do want to write more have a challenge to face.

but, it's fine. it was just a suggestion that i intended to be useful.

just a question, but has anyone began their story yet? i haven't been able to recently, I'm probably gonna write it tomorrow or today, but I just wanted to check on how everyone else is doing ^^
