Halloween Event Discussion Thread 2015

I am so so so hoping for cats tonight. Preferably grown ones, and if not I just really hope the growing stages will all be different and give more of an indication as to their eventual outcomes. That goes for whatever pet we get actually. But please please pretty please. CATS.

Same. I really really love Chia's halloween cats, like the 2013 ones. Sketchi's pets are amazing as well.

I actually had to look the artists up, as I'm not at all familiar with who made what, but I totally agree. They both have done some of my absolute favourites on CS like the sleeping Easter bunny/cats, and the snow crystal butterfly wolves. The scared Halloween cats are amazing as well ♡ Honestly can't wait til we get cats in this event, whoever created them.

Just got my 160th banner.. Slightly torn between wanting to hit the limit before it gets raised, and wanting to calm down a bit. Hmmm. 40 banners means about 14 hours of finding them right after my timer goes off though I think, so I might not even get close ha. Oh well. Can't wait to see what tonight brings! Feel very prepared with over 50 tokens and a couple hours to go~

Haha I was feeling the same way, but then I'm thinking, I'm sure they'll raise the limit and I want to hit it just once at least so might as well go crazy? I think I'm at 18o right now, so only twenty more to go until I hit limit, which means about seven hours of trying to get more banners with a timer. Hm. Decisions decisions. I really don't think they'll be banner pets this year, wouldn't they already have released them?

Honestly I have no idea, I've only been here since July so the Candy Event is the only one I've experienced so far. I think they did the caterpillars as banner pets then? Or they were from the garden, don't recall and too lazy to look it up, heh. From what I've heard the Halloween banner pets sound like a blast, and I think it'd add a bit of excitement. You know, after clicking like 200 of them going either "yay candy" or (in my case) "meh skull", it'd be nice to cross your fingers in anticipation of a cool pet. In that, I do hope they'll still do them. On the other hand, not getting them and having to try and trade..? Ugh. Stressed already, haha.

As for the limit thing.. you are completely right. Might as well just go crazy and feel that rush of accomplishment when you hit it. I think that's what I'll do then!

That's true, I think it would be exiciting to be anticipating a banner pet, I didn't think of it that way. I just keep thinking how stressful it'll be if you don't end up getting one and have to trade for it. >_< And I think the event will run for another week? Is that the general consensus that everyone else is thinking?

Well, as with all things, the demand for them will die down after a while I guess. Another thing that helps me out a lot is that adoption centers or people who quit sometimes do give away the current month pets, or event ones. So if things get really desperate, that's another option. It's how I got the bright red foal no one seems to want to trade this event, ha.
As for its adorable glowing sibling up here.. I hadn't noticed that! It's really great, like it's burning a demon light on the inside. Honestly I can't wait to see them grown up, I think I'll be in complete awe.
Also - from what I've seen speculated here by people who are more familiar with (Halloween) events it'll probably run a few days into November, with a couple bannerless days after just for token trade ins? I don't know really, but we'll find out soon enough. (Too soon! :c)

I've only found 22. lol
In the history of my time on CS (member since 2009), I have never gotten to the banner limit.
