"Mercy Falls, Minnesota. 12 siblings, on an Indian reservation. I left as soon as I can." He shrugged lightly.

"oh, i see.. twelve sounds overwhelming. were they nice?"
*i look up at you during the last question, attempting to read your expressions with my ever-glowing eyes.*

[Doctor Who...?]

He shoved his hands in her pockets as he looked up at the branches over them. "I guess. I wasn't the oldest one, though, oddly enough."

"why do you think it odd? are they not so mature in their manners as you?"
*she slowly picked up speed, wishing to arrive at the village as soon as possible.*

[Doctor Who...?]

Austin.
"They were. But... Most of them in jail." He picked up his pace next to her, quickly.

"hmm."
*she thought about this slowly. her right hand, the one holding the bow, went to her side instead of in front of her, which is where she'd had it ever since shooting near you. it was a very odd bow; writhing with magic. one would wonder why she didn't just use a gun instead.*

[Doctor Who...?]

Austin.
He looked at it a moment. "Why were we born with these? I mean, they aren't bad, but... Inconvenient..."

"i have researched the subject.. and i do not know if it is same to speak here. i will need you to answer a few questions before i can say...
one, how long have you lived here?
two, are you positive you are alone out here?
three, does anyone else know of your abilities?"
*her tone remained friendly, but demanding.*

Austin.
He stared ahead, silent a moment. "A few months. Uh, and I'm pretty sure I'm alone. But... My whole tribe knows of my abilities, but we... Are very secluded. There isn't anyone to tell. Plus... They don't get many visitors. And if anyone asks of me, they will probably say I just left. Or in jail. Maybe both."

"so.. no one that will betray you to the leaders?"
*she looked towards the sun, which was almost entirely secluded by mountains.*
