My con is in about 13 days and I still have to find an oversized pink knit sweater, pig ears/tail, and a picnic basket, and to top it off my wig isn't here either (and it said its supposed to come November 23rd ;n; ) so this is basically me at the moment.

my karkat wig arrived a while ago and i was very happy with it! the top was kind of frizzy though, so i had to fix that. it didn't take long to get here at all, im so happy that im going to be my small angry son ahhh

So this last con I went to, one of the days I ended up doing an extremely last minute closet cosplay of Queen Victoria from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler to join my friend in a cosplay group. It was my first official time cosplaying as a group like and it was fun, but I would up getting a great deal of fake blood in my wig. It's really thick, sticky scab blood and was a pain to wash of my face and hands. In all honesty, I'm a bit frightened to attempt cleaning it out of my wig. Does anyone have any pointers/hacks for that sort of thing? It was a rather cheap, dark wig. (I got it at this weave shop for thirty bucks.)

What is your favorite costume that you've seen someone else do? Probably most of the Mad Max: Fury Road cosplays I've seen. Or this one Ciel cosplayer - their cosplay was spot on!

Yay! My wig came and I went to a thrift store on Sunday and bought my knitted pink sweater! All I need is my pig ears and tail (my dad is making those) and an optional picnic basket. Best of all the con is in 5 days!

All the NZ cons are over for the year, the last one was last weekend, I couldn't go because I'm saving for uni next year :(
but there are still picnics and a christmas cosplay ball to look forward to. so yay for those.

i went as karkat this halloween with my friends, and this is the first time ive used snazaroo so it wasn't perfect but a few people recognized me! i was happy! the only thing is, i burnt my finger trying to glue the horns onto the headband /ono/
