Hey everyone. I would like to make a small PSA. I would really appreciate if you guys read this, as it pertains to something I've been seeing a lot in try out forms, not just with Plumerians. I'm not calling anyone out or anything, simply trying to be informative. ^^

There seems to be a growing trend, that when filling out a form, people answer "gender" in their characters voice, with anything to the effect of "Isn't it obvious I'm a guy?" or "Are you blind? Of course I'm a girl!"

I feel like maybe people aren't understanding that this can actually be insensitive or hurtful.

First off, many people are trying for this character, with lots of different genders. So of course it's not obvious. It's open to interpretation.

Secondly, this sort of statement is very rude, especially to people who don't identify as cisgendered. Please don't ever presume someone's gender by how they look or act, and don't expect other people to presume your or your character's gender either.

Instead, just try saying "I'm male/female/genderfluid/nonbinary/etc."

I also wanted to stop by the fanclub and say hello to everyone and introduce myself! Im laredo and am hoping to get my first plumie! I am in love with quite a few of the nursery babs and have tried in many adopts, but with no luck i gave up. Ive been holding myself back from trying for any but here i am again to try for my first plumie and hopefully become part of this community!
