Hey look! It worked! I'm gorgeous! <3 Hello there, I am Lilura-Tan, a Witch-In-Training! You are my magic! The great Witches and Wizards from around the world chose me to be a witch, and gave me this special book that 1) Activates my power and 2) I am meant to document in! I have to summon up the magic with the spell above, then on the last line I will ask the magical elements for what I want! But I don't always get what I want :c We are assigned special talents by the deceased Witches and Wizards of the past. I am the dog of nature, beauty and water!

Apparently, staff dogs have a special power that make us potential magic users. I have been sent to a cabin on an island... in the middle of a lake... in the middle of the woods. The island is fairly large but a great distance from shore on all sides. There are said to be mythical creatures and failed spells lurking in the water, so we have to take the boat to get to magic school in the woods- Unless you have wings, like me! The island is mainly swampy but grows a lot of edible berries that most non-magic users find poisonous. Who knew Holly berries were so delicious? (Writer's Note: Please, do not try to consume any part of a holly plant, or feed it to animals or friends. Lilura is a fictional character, and in the real world she'd not be able to eat things like holly. Thank you.) The only sturdy part of the island capable of holding buildings is right in the middle, parted by a river that flows very strong at night, but seems to still at day. The boy cabins go on one side, the girl cabins on the other.

I am here with two other dogs, but we're meant to be getting new neighbours in the next-door cabin who are also learning magic! I like to put Japanese honorifics on people. I'm not from Japan, but it sounds cooler! Here are my current friends:

It's because she has the power of beauty and love. She can make herself gorgeous with a simply swish of her tail, and make everyone love her with a bat of her make-up coated eyes! Ugh! I once found myself being friendly to her because her magic made me. Lady and I are working on a barrier spell that stops her magic. We plan to lock her in a bubble that physical forms phase through, but not magic. Her spell is:

You shake with excitement. Today is the day! The Great Witches and Wizards from around the world have been searching for new recruits for their magic training programme! Grinning with nerves, you get handed a form. It is made from lovely gold parchment and you are given an old-fashioned nib pen and some ink. Attempting not to make blots or split your nib, you fill out the form. Note: Limited spots! We only have 1 female openings and 3 male openings! Also, I have STOPPED accepting pets who are not staff pets. If you are not a staff pet, I'm afraid it's automatic rejection.

Today is Monday- School, ugh. Me and Sarah were arguing over whose turn it was to do the laundry until Lady woke up. Within seconds we'd fixed the argument thanks to her- Lady-Chan is good at keeping peace. Now, how I get ready for school...

07:00 AM: I wake up and lay in bed. Too... tired... *groan*.
07:43 AM: Sarah wakes up and goes to the bathroom to re-cast her spell. It was starting to wear off and her hair was falling out.
08:00 AM: Me, Lady and Sarah take turns in the shower, then Lady cooks breakfast. Mmm, waffles!
08:15 AM: We pack our school bags and walk towards the docks. Sarah starts flirting with the boys. Ugh
08:19 AM: We've arrived at the docks. Lady and Sarah are placed in the little boat and I fly behind. I have to make enough wind with my wings so their boat can sail.
08:30 AM: After a long journey, we've arrived at school!

It's a tall, grand building with intricate carvings of noble heroes and screaming maidens in the opalescent marble. Each student's time table is based off what their talent is. My talents are basic water control and advanced plant powers. However, some of my plant lessons have been changed for beauty, as I have shown aptitude to changing fur colour, eye colour and adding extra limbs O_O So if you ever see a six legged horse, that's one of my experiments that got loose.

Plantology is so interesting this week! Our Teacher, Miss Parkles came in. Her full name is Sofia Parkles. S.parkles. Hahaha.

"Alright class, now, I need you all to summon your trees!" Barked Miss Parkles cheerily. There were flashes of green as everyone summoned their trees. They grew until tiny saplings. I was the only one who didn't grow anything. Since I was the only advanced user, I was the only person with BLUE plant magic- a higher level. Feeling self conscious, I placed my paws in the dirt-filled plant pot and whispered quietly.
"By the moon and sun,

I ask of a deed, dear magic elements...
Grow this young tree to it's full potential."
Light blue started to snake through the dirt. Where the colour faded away, roots formed. Then the light blue lines joined and enlarged into one big blue swirl. It flew upwards, forming a thick and sturdy tree trunk. The new kids gasped in awe as my tree grew higher and higher. It stopped inches from the roof and began to sprout branches. These had nowhere to go, so they began to snake everywhere and cover the roof. When it was done growing, the middle of the class room had been surrendered to this huge trunk. It's mass of branches and leaves ran along the ceiling and hung down low towards us. Miss Parkles looks alarmed. Before any action can be taken, I hear a cold, polite voice with a sly ring to it.
"May I intrude? We need to speak to the one named Lilura. Immediately."

Personality: "... I don't know." Skyler may seem quiet at first, but utter a single word to her and she'll start talking. She has a habit of talking quickly and quietly. However, she can throw some good insults and pranks - she loves to prank. She also loves to have fun and play sports.

Magic Powers: Biology - he can make people's heart skip a beat or grow a new arm. Though he's more than competent, most of the benefits of this are weighed out by his ridiculously long casting time.
Dark Magic or Good: Dark. If you comment on it, though, he'll go on a tirade about how dark isn't evil and the names are misleading because you could probably do plenty good with it and yadda yadda yadda.
Personality: Long-winded, Jared can turn a simple matter into a long speech. His rambles tend to be almost incoherent, being what amounts to a collection of all his thoughts slapped together. He has a cold demeanour, which remains in place even when talking to close friends. Despite his attempts to seem intimidating, it never seems to succeed, and he looks more like that one kid who thinks he's edgy than anything else...

... Until he breaks out the magic.
