{Rules}

{General Rules}

~Respect everyone at all time, staff included.
~Accept & tolerate one another. No discrimination of any sort, no matter how passive; be it racial, sexual, religious, etc. Everyone has their opinions, but do not hurt others with them.
~Do not harass/beg others for gifts or trades, you may ask, but no means no.
~Don't harass or bother any members of this community in general.

{Adopting, Ownership, and OC use}

~You may own up to 15 Derpicorns, 5 may be custom-made.
~Respect artist forms. Do not post once applications are closed, and do not blackmail, bribe, etc.
~Do not use skeleton forms unless with permission and citation
~Derpicorns may be treated freely as an OC in concerns to personality and sexuality.
~You can use your Derpicorns as your fursona.
~Do not change or modify a derpicorns anatomy.
~Please don't accessorize your Derpicorns without the artists permission.
~Don't add accessories that fake anatomy, such as horns or mechanical parts.
~The bolded parts refer to art of the derp!corn, not the actual adoptable itself, accessories may be purchased when the shop opens. See goals.

{Creation}

~Only Derpicorn staff are allowed to make designs and customs.
~Guest artists have 1 month to create 5 Derpicorns, they cannot create customs, or batches.

{Community}

~Ask before making public threads. Personal threads are okay.
~You are in charge of these threads and making sure users are qualified to join in.
~Your thread may have its own rules that you may enforce so long as they do not defy any rules listed here.

{Exchange}

~Derpicorns cannot be traded or sold.
~If you want to disown you derpicorn, pm dragonscales10, and I'll host a re-adoption.
~You can gift derpicorns, with the permission of both parties.
~There is a 1-month cooldown between opposite Derpicorn transfers concerning 2 users; if you recently sent a gift to a user, you cannot receive a gift from same user for 30 days, & vice versa. This is to prevent people trading Derpicorns by claiming they're 'gifts'. (That rule was copied from Soulsplosions viscets.)

{Breeding}

~See breeding thread.

{Staff Rules}

~Respect applies to staff as much as anyone else.
~Derpicorns cannot be traded for art/currency of any kind..
~Derpicorns may be adopted by any given form; the form must require the name and gender
~Put the Derpicorns number in the thread name.
~You may own 12 Derpicorns and 5 customs.
~You may make your own customs.
~Ask if you want to make a custom with rare/uncommon traits.
~No runner-ups for now. PM me and I'll make the runner up derp if you absolutely need a runner-up derp!corn.

{Bans & Strikes}

{What's a ban/strike?}

If you break a rule you'll get a warning.
Breaking it again gives you strikes.
3 strikes, and you're banned.

{Strike 1}

Time: 7 days.
All adoption entries are canceled. Guest Artists are removed from staff.

{Strike 2}

Time: 14 days. All adoption entries are cancelled, the user cannot partake in the nursery, and Artists, Guest artists and Mods are removed from staff.

{Strike 3}

3 strikes and you're out. The user is permanently banned from Derpicorns. Owned derpicorns are repossessed and put up for re-adoption. User is banned from the community (Rp's, fanclub, etc).

{Guest Artist Rules}

~All staff rules apply to guest artist, aside from the following exceptions...

~Your ownership maximum isn't any higher.
~You cannot make customs.
~You must follow the same form as artists.
~It's alright if your adoptables adoption lasts longer than your artist term.

~You can make 5 designs.
~Guest Artist terms last 1 month, or until the end of the current month. You cannot do two terms in a row, but you can every 2 months.
~No runner-ups.
~Ignoring these rules can get you a strike.
~You must have access to the Oekaki boards and ChibiPaint.
