It wasn't uncommon now days for Applewhisker to sleep until ridiculous hours of the day, the sun perching itself high in the sky. It wasn't that the elder had a difficult time falling asleep more so as he really appeared to enjoy sleeping. In his mind, his dreams were much more pleasant than the mound of kits and apprentices and warriors, running recklessly outside his cozy little den in an act in which he viewed to "purely annoy him".
So, that's why it was so peculiar that the old Tom managed to wake up at such an 'early hour'. His muscles were tensed, pressed into his position in which he had been laying for the entire night, so stretching wasn't exactly an was task. Picking himself up, Applewhisker opted to go visit the medicine cat den, to go get some sort of herb in which could sooth is aching joints. However, seeing that the medicine cat was not yet prescience, Applewhisker settled on simply lying on his side, sprawled out in order to groom himself.

Rosepaw had always been a painfully light sleeper, which was often why she had to pretend to be sleeping much later than she normally was. However, this morning was an exception. A few members of the clan had long arisen before Rosepaw even had time to open her eyes, so the fact that they were awoke gave Rosepaw the encouragement to rise from her den and fall into a short stretch.

the gentle hum of the clan stirring grew steadily louder, the sound causing her to wake. with one eye she peered across the den to the small nests opposite of her, it appeared as though some of the other apprentices had already awoken and left to start their day. keen to begin the days training ebonypaw stretched, arching her back before stepping off her nest and padding out the dens entrance. blinded by the light she paused for a moment waiting for her eyes to adjusted. when the light spots faded she scanned the camp's clearing in search of her mentor, not seeing him at first glance she slowly began to head towards the fresh-kill pile.

the sounds of the camp awakening can be heard from beyond the entrance as he approaches. the two small mice from the mornings catch hang from his mouth as he pads through the entrance, his eyes scan the clearing for any oddities as he turns towards the fresh-kill pile. after depositing the mice on the pile he gives an acknowledging nod to the approaching ebonypaw before retreating to the side of the clearing to wait for sleetpaw. plans of what to do for training today swirled through his mind as he laid curled in the sunlight, the frosty morning air was unkind to him with his thin pelt.

Redflower is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile, savoring the taste. She scans the clearing for Goldenclaw, her heart pounding. She is in love with the tom and just wants to be together.

Coyoteheart is sleeping in the warriors den, dreaming good dreams.

The small black molly listened carefully to the gentle breathing of her clanmates. Slowly twitching her ears she blinked open her eyes and slowly got up. Stretching her back, she opened her jaws in a large yawn and slowly got out of her den. She walked out of the den and blinked as the brisk and cold morning light rushed into her eyes. The cold, crisp air brushed her fur. She gave a small sneeze and gazed at the fresh kill pile. She sighed a little and made a mental note to organise the border and hunting patrols. After I get something to eat though, I'm famished! settling on a sparrow she took her food to a sheltered spot in the middle of camp and started to take small, savory bites.
