Name Sage [sa-gey]

Gender Female

Personality Sage is an extremely
gullible and anxious Mirru who tends to
overthink things and worry for no
reason. Despite being a rather small
Mirru, she's very brave, and tends be the
sisterly figure in her friend group.

Story It was the night of Halloween
while Sage wobbled on her legs
as the group wandered through the
dead vegetation before them.
"What's the matter, Sage? Afraid of
a little dark forest?" Mocked one
of her friends. Sage's feathers
ruffled at his remark. She was
extremely afraid of forests,
but it was too embarrassing to
admit to her friends. She wouldn't hear
the end of it if she dared tell them.
She glanced back up at her escort,
"No, not at all! I'm just a little cold is
all."
"Aw, okay." He wrapped his wing
around her back, and tucked her
under his warmth. She smiled up
at him, and he returned it. One
of her other friends started to
shriek, interrupting them. Sage
was startled at that and let out a scream
of her own. But he just started to laugh
instead of continuing. She was confused
before he said,
"Wow, it's so easy to scare you, you know
that?"
"Wait, what? Why did you start screaming?"
"To scare you, duh, anyways, we're here."
He gestured to an opening through the
thickets, and they all set eyes upon
a small grave on a grassy patch. Sage
gasped while cracking a smile, she
ran towards the grave and perked up.
She revealed from under her wing a
bouquet of glossy orange flowers, and
lay them down next to the grave.
"Happy birthday, dad."
