my idea is:
newborn: dark blue with stars on the blanket

puppy 1: dark blue with light blue stars and light blue eyes and white paws and the tip of the tail is white

puppy 2: a lighter blue than puppy 1 and has black paws.

puppy 3: same as puppy 2 but has PPS and takes longer to grow and has a moon on its shoulder.

adult 1: grows from puppy 1 is dark blue with light blue swirls and the stars are now yellow and still has white paws and the tip of its tail is white too and has a star balloon attached to its tail.

adult 2: from puppy 2 is the same as puppy 2 but has the northern lights on it and itfades out the yellow stars.

Puppies: All have white bases, but one of them has red designs, one has blue designs, and one has yellow designs.
Adults: One with red, one with blue, one with yellow, then the one with green designs could either grow from the yellow or blue puppy, the one with purple designs could either grow off the red or blue one, and the one with orange designs could either grow off the red or yellow one. And there'd be the rarest version, one with black designs, that could grow off of any of them.

It's kinda like primary colors, then secondary colors.

You should make dog's with different fish designs. Like a clownfish dog, Angelfish dog with large fins, ect. I know there's rats kinda like that, but there isn't dogs that I know of... unless I'm forgetting. I also think a bubble-like dog would be interesting.
