Whitefang watched the rain pour around him as he raced to get back to the warrior's den. He wasn't too badly hurt, so he didn't head over to the medicine cat den. Whitefang realized that the coat was helping to clean his stained coat, so he cleaned in the rain. He was unhappy that he was wet, but at least he was clean. Prussia walked into the den and settled into his nest, watching the rain.

"The most wounded cats, come into my den!" Mapleleaf said as loud as he possibly could. He prepared for the injured cats and tended to them, careful not to hurt them. After he finished with a cat he turned to his leader, Wispstar. He softly gasped at his eye before giving it a herb poultice to prevent infection. He then placed a cobweb over the eye, hoping that everycat would be okay.
