History-Duck was born as a kittypet named Dawn. She lived a happy life, playing with her 4 littermates until she was 5 moons old. Her twolegs' left her and her family and moved away. She and her family hid in the house for about a moon. They were discovered and kicked out. A twoleg even hit her mother hard on the head, killing her. Having no mother and never meeting their father, the kits tried to live on the streets. But the cats there were already starving and chased them out. They managed to live in a trashcan before one of her littermates, her brother, died of sickness. The rest knew they had to keep moving, so they attempted to find twolegs that would take care of them. It worked for her sister, who was taken in. When Duck and her two remaining littermates tried to join her, she turned away, saying "Every cat for themselves." After their sister's betrayal, the three kits moved on. They found an odd forest and tried to live there. But, they were not welcomed. They barely escaped an attack of loners, and Duck's little sister, Snow, was wounded. She took her to a young twoleg couple to take care of her. Duck left her sister on the doorstep, yowled loudly, and waddled off to find her last remaining littermate. She had to leave Snow, and trust the twolegs would take care of her. Duck and her littermate grew as they journeyed for a new home. They were 27 moons when they arrived at another twolegplace Sadly, her brother was killed by an outraged pair of dogs when he stole their meal. Alone, Dawn turned back to the twolegs for shelter. A male twoleg took her in, and she made friends with some kittypets. She lived happily for a year until she was sick and tired of the male twoleg. A friend told her about another twoleg place, and she planned to go there. One clear night, she left the twoleg place and cross a river, almost drowning. She made it the the new twoleg place and lived with a pack of loners. When asked her name, she said she was a cat named Diamond, just in case anyone knew her from before. She also made up a fake history, claiming to be a well-known kittypet in the last twolegplace who left because she wanted to be a loner. She lived with the pack for a few moons before she left them, saying her father was ill. She then quickly made her way to the other side of the twolegplace, hoping no one would know her. Once again, she made up a fake name, claiming she was a cat named Dove. She made no friends there, and hunting was bad. Determined to move on, she overheard a few kittypets talking about a marshy twoleg place a while from here. It took her three days, but she made it and lived as a Rouge. Prey was much better here, catching more everyday. This time, she called herself Duck, the name her mother had thought about giving her. After what her sister, Wave said, she cared only about herself, thinking it was her vs the world.
