Ah, I'm not going to bake them, but they'll end up in my frying pan tomorrow. Baking would be more healthy, but our oven is pretty horrible and it would be a huge waste of energy...
But I managed to make some photos of my pumkin! The dark one isn't as good as I hoped, though. In reality you can see the horns and stuff just well. My mobile phone just isn't the newest...

That turned out great Schnee. I don't think we're going to be carving pumpkins this year since we've been pretty busy (and we don't have any pumpkins right now anyway). I do enjoy carving them though.

I got a pumpkin but I don't know how to carve it without fully cutting through the skin...what was your method?

I always cut small rectangles, then hook the point of my knife under one side and twist upwards until the pulp (is this the right word? "flesh" sounds gruesome) kinda snaps off. More often than not right into my face. If the line is small enough you can cut into the pumpkin with an angle, so you kinda carve an "v" into it. But I would suggest you only do this with an old knife (or a real sturdy one!), I have broken off two points already while doing so. And please, be careful! There's an awful lot of twisting a sharp knife around, so do this on an even surface, the pumpkin well fixed on it and make sure no-ones fingers are too close! Also, the thinner the blade, the easier the cutting but the more easier they break of. If you want, you can practice on the back of your pumkin until you know how to cut and twist!

When I carve pumpkins I usually go straight through but I have done some of the shallow cutting as well and it is easiest if you actually get a pumpkin carving kit. They usually have a scraper tool that you can use and they are not too expensive. You have to be sure not to buy one that is too cheap though since they can break easily. It's better to look for a well made set.
