RILAYA FRIENDSHIP RANT!

Before I get hate, please
note that this is a rant...
I, and no one else, have
asked you to read this.

Okay, here is my rant.
So, as many of you guys know... okay, well if you watch the show, you should know that Rilaya is the main friendship of the show, as in they are the main characters. Note, I said 'friendship' rant, because this is not a 'relationship' rant, I do not ship them what so ever. Now, as I was saying, most of you know they would do anything for each other. They tell each other their secrets, they comfort them in hard times, they wish the best for them... or do they?
I'm honestly sick of all this drama the fandom has been creating. I mostly go on instagram, where I have a fan account for GMW, and see this drama everywhere. So, I do not know if its on tumblr or twitter, but please tell me if it is.
Now, this 'drama' I am talking about is how Riley is always there for Maya, so she lies about liking Lucas so Maya can date him... but we all know that ain't true, even you lucaya shippers. Dont deny it.
But have you guys ever even thought about Maya? She apparently lied about liking Lucas because Riley liked him. For years now probably, maybe 2, 1 1/2, or maybe just 1 year. I have even heard that ever since Creativity, when Lucas said she is a good painter and stuff in class (I forget the details... oh well,) Maya has had feelings in a different kind of way for Lucas, and she just shows it by teasing him.
So, how many of you have seen someone tease another person, most of the time opposite gender? Well, as my teachers and parents would always say, thats because they have a crush on that person, but dont know how to show it! So basically, thats lucaya for you. Hiding feelings because of Riley, and most of the fandom says that Riley lied for Maya, but Maya has lied for a very, very long time.

As a proud Lucaya Shipper, I agree that Maya has liked Lucas for a long time and has been trying her best to hide it for Riley's happiness. ; D But at the end of the day, that is what Maya does? Maya protects Riley. Maya would walk to the ends of the earth if it meant Riley could smile.

Yes, it must have hurt, and deeply. I think she's slowly been falling for him, but has been trying her very best to keep it hidden. I think she really has formed deep feelings for Lucas over the years. Because at the end of the day, her reason for liking him was because he's a "good guy." Now, in Maya's head, I don't think she believes that she deserves a good guy. After all, she's Maya. Shes the one who causes the trouble.

But Riley likes Lucas. Riley has a crush on Lucas, and Riley being blinded by love, has not seen Maya liking Lucas. If she had figured it out earlier, I am really certain that Riley would have stepped back sooner for Maya. Because Riley wants Maya's happiness too. Riley loves Maya just as much as Maya loves Riley. And that is their best friendship in a nutshell : ) It's why it's so beautiful.<3

Ah well, I shipped Lucaya since season one, so all it did was make my heart squeal x3

Same i think rucas is best though they are started to slowly step away from each other.

Awe well, chin up! On the writers twitter, they said that the Rucas shippers have plenty Rucas moments coming up to look forward too! : D *Pulls out party bag for you and hands it over*

I think a new pet. If a new baby, I think it should be a girl. Auggie made it clear he wants to be the little brother. cx and only brother but let's hope he makes an exception for Farkle.

I think it would be really nice to see Riley talking to a pet bunny in her free time! Stroking the bunny, sharing secrets with the bunny, being a proud bunny parent! x3

If they do choose to go with a child, i'm kinda hoping they go down the "adoption" root instead of Topanga being pregnant. I think it would be a really good storyline and lesson for an episode! Like, "What makes a family isn't the blood, but the way you love them like one." And it would show the Matthews loving their adopted son/daughter no different. Plus, I think it would help children who are adopted, or are soon to be adopted. : )

She said she always wanted a sister.
Now she has one.
She could share secrets with her, depending on how young she is, sit with her and read her a story to sleep, braid her hair as she talked, etc. ❤️

Edit: and when she reads the story to her, it could have some meaning to the episode.
She finishes it, her sister's asleep, and she sits and thinks, and then the screen fades to black and goes to the next day. ❤️ cx

I agree! An adopted daughter would be perfect for their dynamic. Plus, Auggie, even though he was little, would get all protective over her. But, let's face it- Who wouldn't be a better older adoptive sister as Miss Smiley Riley herself?

I can just see her doing all those things you have said- and the little girl going "I love you my new big sister Riley!" And Riley hugging her close saying something like "And I love you my little princess. Now, and forever." : )
