Aaliyah shook her head and shrugged, putting her hands in her pockets. "I-i certainly wasn't expecting that." She said, stuttering slightly. She nodded and kept her gaze down, only looking up to see what cabin they were at. She didn't know what else to say to her.

Aaliyah smiled and finally looked at her again. "I think so but I'm not sure when that will start." She said and looked up to see the Artemis cabin ahead of them. "I found your cabin." She said and pointed ahead at the cabin.

"Thanks so much!" She handed Jae the pup. "Name if whatever you'd like, but i would like you to keep it like a pack name, meaning from nature. First, you should feed him with sort meats, since they are used to raw deer and such. As he gets older, he might become aggressive. If that ever happens, just come to me and i'll talk to him. Oh and i have a feeling i have to explain myself..." She squirmed a bit. "My mom is Selene, but the reason i can talk to certain animals is different. I... I kinda made a bet with a god..... When i was younger, 12 or so. So the god gave me my power, saying it was a curse. And now i'm stuck with this curse. I make the best of it but, sometimes it gets to me." She sniffled then made a hissing noise. A small garden snake came slivering out. " I can speak to snakes, felines and of course canines." She said motioning for the snake to go back to its home. " I hope we can still be friends, a bunch of people wold abandon me, saying that being my friend is too dangerous or whatever. No worries, i won't take offense.''

Jaedyn pet the pup's head and held him close to her. "I'll see what my brother wants to name him." She said and listened to what to feed him and everything. She listened as Nova explained herself and smiled afterwards. "I don't see why someone wouldn't want to be your friend after knowing that. We're all demigods right? We all have some sort of power even if it isn't one we like." She said and looked at her. "My brother and I are twins of Iris but I can manipulate light and I live art where he can move very fast and is good with horses." She said and shrugged.

Jaedyn thought about it then frowned. "I honestly don't know where he is. I last saw him this morning in our cabin but then he said something about exploring the camp and left." She said and looked around, looking to see if she saw him anywhere. "We can ask someone if they saw him anywhere." She said and looked back at Nova.

"Ok then lets go! " She said walking along the lake. "Oh! Do you have something that might still have his scent?" She howled and Howl showed up, standing next to her. " Howl is the best tracker in our pack. He once found a lost pup, when i was traveling with my pack." She said proudly. She climbed up a boulder and said "What does he look like? I think I might be able to find him!"

Jaedyn shrugged and watched her climb up the boulder. "There's probably something that smells like him in our cabin." She said then thought. "And he is tall with kind of dirty blonde hair..." She said. "I guess you could say he looks like me but as a boy." She said more of as a question than a statement.
