Lunarwing nodded, following him out. She would have replied, but truthfully, she didn't feel like telling right then. She glanced up, watching Thistlestar gaze down at his clan from the high-rock, making Lunarwing's guilt return. How could she leave Sandstar, how could she leave Duskclan? She brushed it off. Dewclan was her home now, and she was with her family.

Thistlestar shifted slightly on his paws, his eyes scanning the cats below him. He felt the all to familiar tug of power that stirred in his chest, it was always the same I did it. I made it. I am exactly where I am supposed to be... where I want to be. This is my home, my clan, my family. I am their leader... his eyes scanned his mother and father and the uncertainty that settled in his chest dissipated. He was in control. No matter what this was his. All his. He stepped forward, letting his tail sway slightly behind him as he puffed out his chest in absolute pride. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join her beneath the highledge for a clan meeting" he called out, his eyes scanning the cats as they all joined beneath him. He glanced at Mapleleaf, flicking his tail to invite her to join him. He never made a choice without his mate.

Stormflight felt the slight pain in his chest at the thought of DuskClan, pushing himself mindlessly out of the den. He glanced back waiting for Lunarwing to follow him. Occasionally he forgot that this was his new home and he occasionally wondered why he was not back in his den in DuskClan... then he remembered, but as much as he missed his old home, he knew this was the place he truly belongs. He was home here. With his kits and his mate. He shifted, walking forward until he was just below the highledge. His sat back on his haunches carefully and turned towards Lunarwing.

Foxfur turned towards her brother with his stoic expression and flicked her tail in annoyance. He had always been so hard headed, so expressionless. She turned her gaze back to Thistlestar as he called the clan cats to him. She admired the way he puffed his chest out in pure pride. She rolled her eyes slightly as an attempt to cover her affection and turned towards Oakleaf "Of course I'm close to him... and of course I'm happy here. Sometimes I miss our old clan... but this is where I belong." she gazed at him quizzically. Was he unhappy here? "Are you not happy?" she asked softly, her muscles quivering under her pelt.

Swallowtail padded out of the warrior's den when he heard the leader call. He sat down in the back of the crowd, his tail swaying. As he looked up to the leader, he waited for the meeting to start.

Cloudstrike shifted on her paws and trotted over towards Swallowtail. She took a seat next to him, wrapping her tail daintily around her forepaws. Her white pelt shimmering in the sunlight. She caught sight of her sister slink out from the den and rolled her eyes, swiveling her ears towards the tom next to her. She scanned his stature, the black of his pelt almost an ebony coloring. She let out a soft purr before speaking "What do you think the meeting is about?" she asked softly, her tail tip twitching.

RacoonPaw finished his vole and stood up, noticing the meeting was starting. Flicking his tail on the ground, he went to join DovePaw. Sitting down next to her and the other apprentices, he turned his head to look up at his leader. Sighing quietly, he waited to see what the meeting would be about, flicking his tail every once and a while.

Just as she was about to pad after her mentor, she heard ThistleStar call a meeting. "Aww~ Maybe we could go hunting after the meeting?" DovePaw asked, flicking her tail. Turning to the group, she quietly padded over to join the other apprentices. Looking up at her leader, she waited for the meeting to begin.

Hearing ThistleStar's call, EmberPool started to pad to where the other cats where currently gathering. Swishing her tail, she sat down at the edge of the crowd, watching other cats pad out to join the grouping. I wonder what it could be?... she thought as she looked up to face her leader. Waiting patiently for others to arrive, she sat silently.

Yawning, HawkRunner took notice of RavenFeather and nodded his head. "Alright. I'll head out in a second." the brown-furred tom mewed, standing up and shaking out his fur. Noticing the time, he tried to wake up as soon as he could, padding on sleepy feet into the clearing. Seeing the cats gather, he realized how late he really had been, and quickened his pace to sit down at the meeting in time.

Twoface padded towards the warrior's den after hunting and bringing back a ton of kill. He was quite tired and wanted o get some rest before he went on patrol. Upon entering the den and finding it almost empty, he streched and curled up next to his brother, who was already sleeping. He mrrowed a soft hello just in case he wasn't sleeping and settled down.

Thistlestar shook the dust from his pelt and stared down at the cat's before him, his muscles relaxing at once. "Mapleleaf and I will be leading a patrol to the DuskClan border, I'll be taking Stormflight and Lunarwing as well as Bluepaw and Emberpool" he meowed, glancing at the four cats he had called. That was a strong party, they could check the rest of the patrols as well. He glanced at the cats standing before him and a thrill of pride ran through his body. "Oakleaf, I'd like you to watch the clan while I'm gone. Please send out a hunting patrol" he meowed firmly and with that, turned and dismissed the cats with a flick of his tail.

Stormflight shifted on his paws and smiled at his mate, his ears swiveling towards the highledge "He is. It's amazing how far he has come" he purred, wrapping his tail around his mate. He was proud of his son. This was more than he could have hoped for for him. He turned and rasped his tongue along his mates cheek, his pelt bristling with excitement at the thought of visiting the border of his old clan.

Lunarwing's heart flooded with excitement as her son spoke, her paws beginning to itch. They were going back, even if it was just for a while, and Lunarwing couldn't wait to inhale the familiar scent of Duskclan territory, the scents of fresh oak leaves and moist ground... Just the thought calmed her nerves. "Oh, thank Starclan," She whispered to her mate. "I think Thistle read my mind."

Oakleaf opened his mouth to speak, but shut it again as Thistlestar spoke. Oakleaf's eyes widened, but he soon masked his surprise. "Of course, Thistlestar." He meowed, dipping his head to his littermate. He certainly still wasn't sure what he was meant to do with his life, but having his brother trust him with the safety of the clan made him proud.
