I turned up from my potato chips to see a girl sitting across from me. I then realized who it was. The same blond hair and disgusted look. It was Tasmin. Tasmin Malfoy. I put my chips aside to look up at her. "Well hello, Tasmin." I whispered softly. "Isn't it a pleasure to see you here." I said, staring into her eyes calmly. But my outside did not reflect how I was actually feeling. Inside, my brain was a bit confused and a bit angry. For many reasons that I don't want, or need to explain. You would understand. Family and that stuff... Ya...

A bit bored, I slid open the 2 glass doors for the compartment and looked outside to well... look. I didn't need or really want to talk to anyone, but I just wanted to see if anything interesting was happening. When I didn't see anything, I walked back in my compartment, closed the doors and continued to read.

sirius was going to comment on the absence of james, until he arrived again, slipping past him. after everyone somewhat introduced themselves, he nodded. "and i'm sirius. you are scarlett, a ... sixth year gryffindor, right?" he said softly, pulling the squirming ferret out of his pocket so she could explore the cabin as she pleased. he was always a bit jealous of gryffindors. didn't help that his only brothers were both also gryffindors. besides teddy, they were all in different houses. it gave them space, but it left sirius feeling strange during lessons. caroline was with him sometimes, but usually not.

"hey james. teddy. caroline. lils was trailing behind mom and dad, but i don't think she wanted to follow us." the only one on good terms with slytherin to sirius' knowledge was lily. she usually hung around them. sirius crossed his arms, leaning back on his seat.

"Ugh, I'd hate to be in that house." He said with a faked shudder. "I can't wait to play them in Quidditch." James added with a smug grin, leaning back against the seat. "Hah, like Hufflepuff could beat Gryffindor." He argued, flicking his curly brown hair out of his eyes. "Right, Teddy?"

Caroline Potter // Tagging: Sirius, Teddy, Scarlet
"Assuming you win. I think Hufflepuff will win this year." Caroline responded, glancing with a wink at Sirius, she loved making James mad, and Quidditch was a quick way to do that. She stifled a giggle, turning back to Scarlet. "Excuse mister competitive." She said, scooting over, so she was across from her.

"Such a pleasure." She muttered under her breath, trying to control her disgust. She didn't hate Lily, they were on the same quidditch team, so they kind of had to get along, Tamsin just couldn't stand the way people treated the Potters, like they were something special. What was the clincher was the way kids from the other houses treated her, because she was a Malfoy. Even the teachers sometimes did it. Deciding to try to find a neutral topic she said, "God I hope we beat Gryffindor this year. In the house cup, and in quidditch. Nothing better than the looks on their faces..Escpecially that brother of yours, thinks he's so special just because he's team captain(she's referring to James)." She said, trying to be mostly civil, focusing on her hatred of gryffindor instead of her disgust towards the Potters.

"Ya." I agreed. "But just think of it. I have to spend all summer hearing him brag about how Gryffindor is so "good" and how they won and everything." I snorted, just thinking about all those times he made fun of me and bragged. I smirked, thinking of the one time I set his hair on fire because of it. That was wonderful. Then I thought of how my father had talked about giving the Malfoys the same respect as I would give any student. But was that happening. Nope. Not through any of my siblings yet. But trying to stay away from my hatred of Slytherin, I went back to Tasmin. "We'll win this year, I know it." I said confidently.

Teddy laughed, the band of yellow appearing in his hair again. "You know, I'm not much into quidditch, but...we're totally gonna crush them!" He looked at Scarlett for approval (as she was in their house) and leaned into James, hand extended for a hi-five. "Gryffindors are better just in general," he joked. "There's no way we won't win again."

Scarlett ginned wickedly back at teddy, and said enthusiastically "Yeah we will! They haven't even got a chance !"
Though she wasn't on the team, she was very serious when it came to quidditch.
Adding to sirius she said, "Yup, that is right. Your a ravenclaw, right? i'm sorry, but what year are you again?"
"Also" she added standing up, "I'm going to run down to the trolley, does anyone else want anything?"

"You know it!" James responded, high-fiving Teddy. "I'll take a chocolate frog." He added, talking to Scarlet.
James rolled his eyes, turning to Teddy. "I hope classes aren't too hard this year, or give too much homework. I need to have time for Quidditch and for being head boy."

She chuckled, and glanced up at Scarlett, "I might also get a chocolate frog, if you don't mind, I can accompany you to the trolley, it's not like I'm doing anything else." She glanced at James, before looking back at Scarlet.

"Ugh that must be terrible, I only have to deal with my dad. We're totally going to win this year, we have to." Tamsin responded, glancing out the window, as the train pulled out of the station.
