Ayla

She seemed slightly annoyed by the answer. Most cats that lived in large groups, clan or not, annoyed her. Their reasoning and protectiveness seemed unfair to her. She thought it was unfair that they had to get along, follow rules, and sometimes even force themselves to act like they like someone. Having always stolen for fun, and a living, she also hated how they would band together to stop others from doing anything to them. Even if they outnumbered whoever their opponent or opponents were. "Well does Romano not mean more than your clan? From what I have seen they don't want him!" she said in a slightly annoyed tone. It was easy to see that she was annoyed about something by her face and flicking tail.

"He's the world to me and I will get him into the clan even if it kills me." Eaglepaw sneered back starting to get slightly annoyed. He pulled the older male closer to him and resumed grooming Romano's soft short cut up. She doesn't get it. I know Romano secretly wants to be in the clan. Maybe she's just lonely right now. The Maine Coon thought.

Rockfoot glared back at Midnightpaw. "Not with your attitude." She flicked her ears in an annoyed manner and continued up the slope. Soon she could see the entrance to the camp. Rockfoot breathed a sigh of relief that it was boarded up. Hopefully no one in camp had gotten hurt. Her bounds turned into sprints as they approached their home.

Ayla

Ayla rolled her eyes and pushed inbetween them, and through a looser part of the stuff blocking the burrow entrance to get outside. Lots of ash fell on her as she did, getting in her eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. She shook her head while running off to attempt to get rid of it. She coughed an gagged as she ran until she got far enough to stop and clean her face.

Amberbreeze

Amberbreeze looked around and carefully walked around every bit of ash he saw. He was grateful when he saw the clan entrance and trotted up to it. "H=Heloo?" he asked through a small gap in the rock. His speaking disturbed some ash that puffed up in his face and he sneezed. He sat down from the force of the sneeze and rubbed his nose with a paw to remove any other ash.

Emeraldblaze

Emeraldblaze had been near the entrance already, but unseen. Coated in ash she was not detected and jumped at Rockfoot to scare her. She knocked her down, avoiding any ash piles. She looked proud of herself and laughed. The laugh wasn't directed at Rockfoot, but at her accomplishments.

Midnightpaw

Midnightpaw sighed when they got back to the camp. He hated it. Also, he couldn't believe how Emeraldblaze was acting. He saw her as having the mindset of a kit, and Amberbreeze was just a coward. He didn't like Rockfoot either. He couldn't wait to leave, but he wasn't ready to leave his siblings yet.

Rockfoot sneezed, batting slightly playfully at Emeraldblaze. Then she stood and shook herself off, reiterating Amberbreeze's quiet call. "Hello?!" She called through the ash filled air. "It's Rockfoot, Emeraldblaze, and Midnightpaw. We're back, alive an well!" She peered through a gap in the stone.

Silverpaw heard their calls and ran over to the blockade. "Come on." She told Blazehawk. "We've gotta get them in." She began scrabbling to yank some of the smaller rocks out of their position.

Romano watched the she cat run out and soon he padded out of the den. "Well she's an ass." Romano sneered before he was slapped by Eaglepaw who gave a small glare at him for swearing. Romano gave another hiss in return before he decided it was time to return to camp. "Well, want to head back home and try not to suffocate by the ash?" Romano then suggested and without a responce already made his way in the direction. Eaglepaw gave a small groan before he followed the Italian cat's lead. "Dude, do you think they will even want you to stay? I mean, that she cat did have a small point." Eaglepaw suggested. "Bastard I'm positive. Shut your mouth up and keep walking."

Eventually the two reached the camp entrance coughing a bit along the way from the ash. Eaglepaw saw a few more of his clanmates and gave a yowl out to them in hope they will hear him. He shook his long fur before padding closer and tapped Rockfoot on the shoulder. As usual Romano was close behind scared at everything unless he was with a cat he trust.

Ayla

After cleaning her fur, she carefully went to the border. Under a tree there was a nest with a few roots around it. This was where she slept usually. After checking around the area she knew Robin still hadnt been there in a long time. 'Maybe he found a new group?' she wondered, 'or maybe he just-" her thoughts were interupted by her stomach growling loudly. Ayla flopped down into her nest and curled up. She felt a bad feeling come over her, that began to sink down more into saddness. She curled up as tightly as she could to block out everything. Tears began to roll down her face. This happened most of the time when she was alone, and she used the thrill of stealing to block it out most of the time.

Amberbreeze

He stood close to the door, wanting inside baddly. He felt like the volcano would erupt at any moment, even though a burst had just occured. When he heard a voice and saw the two approaching the door he had mixed feeling. He was glad Eaglepaw was back, but not so much with Romano.

Emeraldblaze

She quickly shook some of the ash from her fur and trotted toward the door.

Rockfoot turned and saw Eaglepaw, and Romano a bit behind. She breathed a sigh if relief. "You guys are okay! Thank goodness!" She turned back to the blockade at the door, seeing little silver paws scrambling through the rubble, yanking out small bits here and there. She sighed. If they waited for Silverpaw to let them in, they would be here all day. Silverpaw was a great apprentice, the best one they had currently, but she wasn't the biggest of the bunch. Rockfoot flicked her tail towards the blockade, addressing the group. "We need to help pull out the rocks!" She instructed. "It will be harder, since we're doing it from the outside, but we have to try!" She began assisting Silverpaw, yanking out a larger rock.

Flickerpaw raised his head drowsily, blinking at all the noise and commotion he heard coming from the camp entrance. He padded out of the den, making a wide berth around Foxpaw. He quickly observed what was happening, and, with a sigh of relief, began to help Silverpaw. However, he was only moving small pebbles, and wasn't much help.

Silverpaw peered through a small hole she had managed to dig out. She did a quick head count. She counted six cats, noticing one of them was unfamiliar. "Oooh!" She murmured to herself. "Maybe we have a hostage!" She flicked her tail excitedly, wondering what would happen. Then she realized something. Only five clan cats? She counted again. Still five. "Do you guys have Earlgrey?" She shouted through the small gap.

Sharp sniffed the air. He roused himself from the abandoned rabbit den he had stuffed himself in and poked his head out. The burst seemed to have cleared, and there was a thin layer of ash over everything. He sniffed the air again. He thought he could pick up a smell, an unfamiliar cat, but he wasn't cure. There was too much ash still out and about. He gave a small cough.

Emeraldblaze

Emeraldblaze pushed on a rock that was larger than what she could move. She overestimated herself often, but she believed she could do it.

Midnightpaw

Midnightpaw sat down and watched the other cats push on the rock. He jumped on a ledge above the door sending down a shower of ash. on the cats working below.

Amberbreeze

He looked to Rockfoot then the other cats when she said she was glad they were okay. He had a disappointed look on his face seeing Romano was there, but still tried to pull rocks out of the way. He did not like Romano, or random cats joining the clan still. He knew they needed members, but he thought Romano should not be one they accept.

Ayla

Ayla thought she smelled a cat nearby, but the scent was mixed with the smell of rabbit. She assumed a cat had hunted nearby earlier and ignored it.

"Yah dudett. Roma here helped me out in getting to a shelter when I tripped over a rock and shredded my back leg up." Eaglepaw purred before he turned around and showed Rockfoot his mauled leg. "Worse then I expected." He muttered to himself before he turned back around. When Silverpaw asked about his brother Earlgray, Eaglepaw perked up and asked, "What do you mean? Did he go out or are you mistaken and he's still in camp?" His tone started to get more frantic as he said each word. Despite he hated his brothers guts, the Maine Coon still really cared about the Scottish Fold.
