Deep breaths, Cas, deep breaths, you tell yourself. More than likely this is probably some kind of hoax; didn't this happen once before? Some kind of Halloween trick where someone thought it would be smart to read War of the Worlds over a radio broadcast? Yeah, there's probably nothing to fret over. Eyes drifting left and right, you hover near the televisions for a lingering few moments, then abandon the shrieking emergency tones. Those things hurt your ears anyways. It isn't long, however, before the shrill sirens used to warn the public of approaching terror whir to life. Teeth gritting you cover your ears, squinting your eyes as you heave a heavy sigh. People around you rush by - a woman with a child clutched to her chest, an older man hobbling in daze, a man in a business suit shrieking to his wife to put his Ferrari in the garage. Perhaps you should return home yourself. You start to turn away, but here the unmistakable clatter of the old man's cane slipping from his fingers. You swivel to watch with pursed lips as he bends to collect it, only to be knocked over by the Ferrari guy as he passes.
