the only thing is that death of a bachelor wasn't released as a single. i mean, to us it was, but technically, it wasn't. they played it once on the radio, and after that, they did nothing with it. they didn't further discuss it. they didn't release it on itunes or spotify or anywhere. and brendon said it was his favorite song on the new album. i think that there may be a good chance that it is death of a bachelor. i mostly think that because of the context. they said it's the death of an old era. although brendon and sarah were married when too weird to live was released, it hadn't been long, and it's easy to assume that the album was done long before it was released. think about this album. it's been finished since probably july, according to brendon, and it's being released in october. that's four months. there were six months between sarah and brendon's wedding and the release of the album. so basically, this album is the first album written completely when brendon was a married man. thus, it's ending the era of him being a bachelor. it's a new era.

if it makes you feel better, brendon is technically solo under panic!. no one else is technically in the band. they just lend their "creative input" to help brendon write songs and whatnot. they made it clear a while ago that dallon, dan, and kenny aren't in the band.
besides, brendon is really proud of panic!, no matter how salty some people are about it. he's been on his own for six years. he could've ended it before it started, but he didn't.
