Folds of Time (Alaska and Dalek)

The burly man stared down the mako, "Disinte-...?" He shook his head, reaching for Ande, who cowered behind Missy in fear.
"What are you creatures?" He boomed, grabbing Ande by his backpack and trying to pick him up by it, but the backpack came off and sent the Viking flying backwards out of the ship. He took a moment to get back to his feet, then unsheathed a broadsword and shouted a war cry, "Get 'em!" He yelled.
Ande pleaded immediately with Missy, "Please, talk to them!! You, you sound like you're from the same kind of area, right? Stop them or they're going to kill us!!"

Missy was incredibly calm for the situation given. "Excuse me? No such thing, I'm from Galifrey. They're from-" she was cut off when one of the giant men picked her up in the middle of her sentence, shocking her out of finishing it. With a grimace, The Mistress pointed the small, alien device in the Viking's direction and pressed a button. Moment later, the surprised man was shocked - literally - into a pile of pitiful ash. That seemed to quiet down some of the other Vikings. They had never seen an iPhone, never mind one of these! She had built it herself. A little secret- she wasn't even sure it would work. At least she knew now. "I did warn you," she hissed, partially towards the pile of ash and partially towards the rest of the Vikings. Now she was talking to the remaining of the Norwegian sailors alone, "There. Now, you either cooperate and show 'Ande' a good time or you end up like your friend here," she warned fiercely, stepping out from in front of her Earthen mako friend, leaving him out in the open for the Vikings to make their choice.

The man who held Ande's backpack raised an eyebrow, and stroked the braids of his beard with the other hand.
"Very well, strange creature. But under our terms." He growled, a sharp stare daring the girl to act as he held Ande's bag over the site of the ship. If she were to disintegrate him, the bag would drop into the water, lost forever.
Ande's eyes watched the Viking man, and silently pleased with the Mistress.
"Do we have a deal?" The man shook the bag, causing a small piece of shiny paper to fall. Ande whimpered for the lost treasure.

"What are your terms?" Missy asked, raising a brow. she could hear Ande whining and whimpering behind her, but she pretended not to care. Internally, she almost smiled at him, yet at the same time sort of pitied him. She actually seemed to care abut this one. You didn't meet candy-hoarding makos every day. It would be a shame if he died before he could 'teach her' his ways.

The Viking gave a long, low chuckle. "Our terms are that you do not... Ash, do not make any of us into ash again. You leave machine in your 'ship' and then we will show you good time. Our promise is not to kill you or harm ship." He waved his broadsword at the Tardis. "Is this a deal?"
Ande watched his bag, swinging at the large man's side as he spoke, and turned to The Mistress again, nodding eagerly.

"You couldn't harm my ship if you tried- but alright. Ande? Sound good?" Missy asked, looking behind her. He had it clear, he was up for the offer. "Alright, let's go have a tLk then, shall we?" She asked, stepping out of the ship and pulling Ande behind her. "Oh, and give us the bag back, please," she demanded. They didn't have a choice- give the bag or give the bag.

Ande nodded vigorously again, and the uig Viking tossed the bag in front of him. Ande scrambled to collect the fallen candy wrappers, zipping the bag securely and tossing it back onto his back.
"Yes. We talk in the cabin," he pointed his sword at a large wooden door, then walked to open it. He held the door open for the two, showing a comfortable-looking room with maps and charts on the walls.
"Ladies first." He said.
Ande cowered behind the Mistress, but when he peered out from behind her, he was surprised to see it wasn't a dungeon or jail or anything.

Missy noticed Ande's misinterpretation of what Vikings may have been like. "Thank you," she replied to the man who had enough manners to know who came before who. "Ande, meet your idols... Or... Whatever. Really, I can't believe Scandinavian ruffians were the one thing you would like to see in all of creation…" she muttered under her breath, still kind of pondering upon the mako. He was very... Peculiar.

Ande lowered his head, following The Mistress into the little room, and the big man followed them, closing the door behind him.
"Sorry..." Ande said, his voice a bit timid. The truth was, Ande wished he could be as brave and free and adventurous as these men were, and definitely as tough. But alas, it wasn't in his genes. His father was rather scrawny, and his mother wasn't huge either...
The viking sat down in the big chair behind the wooden table, and waved his arm for the two to take a seat. Ande hopped up onto one of the big leather-covered chairs, admiring quietly the weapons and charts and studying the writing on the maps.
The viking just kept his eyes on Missy, waiting for her to speak.

"So what are your names?" The Mistress asked in her easily recognizable Scottish accent. She appeared to be completely oblivious to the fact that she was the main centre of the room- as if she were that every day of the week. "This is Ande. I am The Mistress. You can call me Mistress if you like," she said, sitting up on the chair. She loved her name- it made her feel above all else. Missy made sure to keep her nickname out of the conversation this time, since it would ruin the purpose of her rather powerful name.
