Gracious, I just realized that the old CYOA was 99 pages completely. We're not even halfway through this story and we're almost there.

I've always been too busy to read it, but from just hearing that it's about as long as this is now, I might reconsider
I think this just proves you have become a better writer and maybe you go a bit more into detail?

Honestly, the original CYOA's story was shorter simply because there was less going on. It was a mystery/detective story, and those can usually be resolved pretty quickly. I just didn't have more to say about it.

This one, on the other hand, is of a grander scale. Much, much grander scale.
