Applebreeze

Applebreeze surveyed the camp. Not much was happening. Hollyfrost was grooming herself while watching Nightkit. Mintstar was picking a piece of prey out of the pile, and Rainfeather was stretching in front of the warriors den. Applebreeze was sitting near the entrance hoping somebody would go out with him.

Rainfeather

Rainfeather felt very soar. Her body ached from working hard the day before. Even though she felt awful all she wanted to do was run through the forest. She padded toward the entrance.

Nightkit

Nightkit looked toward the medicine cat's den. From there he could smell an abundance of scents. He wanted to run in there and find the source for each one, but he held back.

Hollyfrost

Hollyfrost gazed at Nightkit, she wanted to know what her kit was thinking. She would have asked but she saw Nightkit was zoned out and she didn't want to disturb him. It was hard enough finding a time when a kit was running around getting in trouble.

Applebreeze

Applebreeze decided to ask Mintstar if he could be put on a patrol. Thinking of patrols he wondered who Applebreeze would pick as a deputy. The decision had to be made soon. Coming up to Mintstar, Applebreeze spoke, "is there a patrol you can me on?"

Rainfeather

Nobody seemed to notice Rainfeather leave and she was glad. As soon as she was out she ran as fast as she could into the forest, without a care in the world.

Mintstar turned her head up from her vole to face Applebreeze. "Well, yes." She paused, wondering who to send. Applebreeze wanted to go, so he could lead it. "Would you mind leading the hunting patrol?" She mewed before swiftly finishing the vole and getting rid of it's remains.

"Great, I'll see who I can find." Applebreeze looked over to where Rainfeather was. She had disappeared as usual, he might be able to find her out in the forest. That would still only be two cats so he looked back to Mintstar, "would you like to come with?"

Mintstar had gotten up and started surveying the camp when Applebreeze came up to her. "No, thanks. I've gotta stay here." She meows, and adds, "Good luck though." With no deputy, she couldn't leave camp, she was stuck here until she picked one. She'd have to do one soon, anyway. She looked up and the towering pines, and suddenly felt a chilly breeze. She shuddered.
