Arber dodged out of the way at the last second. "I guess that's pretty good advice." He said, waiting for her next move. Storm always knew just what to say.

Scarlet smiled, looking at the cub. She started to jumped about, trying to make him laugh. Scarlet stopped, sniffing the air. "Grim!" She yelled, running towards him.

Storm jumped high into the air, aiming at Arber's back, but planning to keep her weight shifted evenly so that she didn't harm him. "Unless you're embarrassed by me." She laughed, as she plummeted to the ground.

Grim smiled, and met Scarlet with a lowered head and a hearty laugh. Kanuga giggled, falling over onto his side and purring deeply.

"I saw and heard a black dog," She yelped. Scarlet cowered, lowering herself. "It looked like the Grey-Hound Walker." Scarlet herself had heard of a black dog called the Grey-Hound Walker. But other stories said he was a normal dog. Her mother said he was called Thunder.

Grim shook his head. "It's alright. You know there's nothing scarier than me in these trees." He laughed, and licked her cheek. Kanuga licked Scarlet's paws. "I'll pwotect you, momma." He said, his young eyes completely serious.

Scarlet smiled, "I´m not your mother dear." She licked his ear, turning to Grim. "But he looked like the Grey Hound Walker!" She growled, looking around. Scarlet wouldn´t take any chances now she had a cougar to look after. Scarlet sighed, maybe it was her imagination?

Grim shook his head. "I'll go and look, alright?" He stepped out of the camp, sniffing the ground with his ears perked. He would kill anyone who threatened his mate. Kanuga stepped in front of Scarlet, his eyes burning with a fierce determination. "I won't you be attacked again, Momma, I won't!" He hissed, arching his back and swatting at the air with his wide paws. They were already the size of a dog's paws, though his body was still small.
