I had to look for the one yesterday... and now all of mine turned into this one. Thankfully I loved the look, so if it turns out looking anything like what I think it will look, I am definitely hoarding the little fella. <3 Still, having to look for a fifth outcome at three days is starting to get annoying. So much for better luck on the new year. D8

@Duani: I don't think it was that rare. Probably very uncommon at most, but I have been surprised before. ^^;

But... is there such a rarity as very uncommon? I've never seen one with that before. I've only seen rare after uncommon. So wouldn't the dog be either uncommon or rare?

By very uncommon, Tamm' predicts that it will be uncommon, but become rare later. There are terms to specifically describe a pet, such as, the PeaPPS for example, is very uncommon. Not quite rare, but nearly. Another example is a common rare or common july - the CE galaxy is a common july ; even though it is a VR, it is held as a common VR in comparison to the other Julys.

Pretty much yeah. ^^ The PeaPS was the one that came to mind as a matter of fact when I said that. As Zeph said, it isn't a set rarity, more of a way to separate within the rarities. Just like not all rares are the same rarity, not all uncommon pets are the same rarity either. However, the GUPPS seems to be among the rarer Uncommons. The one that suprised me with how hard it was to get is the Green 3rd Gen. Is it really that uncommon? o3o

I just realized that the dog for 2011 adoption, the grown 2010 dog, is as if the year itself {2010} Is all grown up now and ready to move on <3

@tamm - I don't know, I got all the outcomes from my original litter ..
but of all, the green one has certainly gotten the most offers on.
I don't think it's too much more uncommon than the others, but certainly a bit.
... and of course, when one outcome is even slightly rarer than the others ...
everyone crazes. ;_;;

Fortunately it isn't as bad this time.
Might be the fact that they're 3rd gens ...
People often hold 2nd/3rd gens at a lower value.

The GUPPS was pretty hard to find. I searched everywhere for it, and paid a good deal for an uncommon, it is certainly on the upper end of the scale. Is the green pup that difficult to grab? I missed that one, darnit. But I enjoy the fact that the 2nd and 3rd gens are gaining some rarity. It sucks that they just clog up trade groups and the pound.

Edit: I rather hoped that we would get a PPS to match the one from 2010, with the same pattern but in a different color. (I wanted a green and white one!)

Yes, I know that there are never exactly the same number of outcomes distributed in each litter. Just a few days ago I explained that to another friend of mine. I was just saying that I thought you literally meant that there is a rarity called 'very uncommon'. Either that or you meant the pet was between uncommon and rare. That's what I thought when you told me.

The green 3rd Gen. pup and 2010 GUPPS was pretty hard to get when you're looking for it in the January Trade thread. I bet that the 2010 GUPPS will be rare. XD
I had 2 green pups. I traded it for older pets. I was lucky to get the 2010 GUPPS from one of my friends who wanted my lion and and Santa bat.

I know this is a little far fetched, but wouldn't it be sweet if we had cat rats? Like they were the rats, but had little cat ears and a cat tail ^^
