The apprentice let out a small noise in the back of his throat when Poppypaw lost consciousness and he spun around where he stood, his eyes wide. He knew that Mothclaw had recently gone off to with Skystar to meet with Marshclan and his mind blanked for the first time. That's it! Marshclan! He looked at Poppypaw, concern crowding his eyes as he heaved her onto his back and made the way to the borders with the she-cat secured on his back. He had not idea how Marshclan would react and he hadn't seen much of them but there wasn't any choice. Hopefully they had a capable medicine cat who could help his friend. With a determined face, he pushed through the territory and crossed over.

When she got back, she deposited her rabbit in the fresh-kill pile, and curled up in her nest, where she slept without any dreams or nightmares.
