This is not the first RPW with APGD, as my RPW, Hanji, displays said trait(s).
Please keep this in mind while entering, as this is in fact the second RPW with the abnormality.
You may PM me and ask to use Hanji in your form, but this post was made to inform users that, while this RPW is very lovely, they are not the first RPW with APGD. I hope this does not discourage anyone from competing, but after talking with Raven, I thought it'd be best for you all to know that there is not only one RPW with said trait. u v u APGD is still very rare, of course.

ok so I'm giving in and probably trying T3T WIP

How do they feel about their mutation? It can be a little annoying, leaving messy paint trails wherever he goes, but after living with it this long, Kiryu honestly doesn't think too much of his mutation unless some other wolf brings it up. He isn't one to hide who is, but he still gets frustrated that wolves seem to focus on just the one aspect of him so much, without any regard for everything else that makes him unique as a person. If too many wolves question him about his mutation in a short span of time, he often blows up and goes on a rant about it because he's sick of everyone fixating on it. There is more to him than his strange mutation, and he doesn't let anyone forget it in a hurry.

Johnny doesn't really mind that he has APGD, it doesn't bother him in any other way other than slipping on his own paint when he's walking around, running, trying to grab things, eating food, working, writing and other things that require his paws. Also he was bullied in school called "Tinkle paws" and "Leaky feet" by the older Rainbow paint wolves, it didn't bother his a single bit though, he thought his paws were pretty cool how they dripped from his paws and not the tail that he didn't have to begin with. He was proud of his disease and doesn't think of himself as a mistake like others see him.

Strong-Willed

Echo’s strength is not in her physically like a lot of rpws, but rather in her head. She believes that it is the most powerful thing you have and it intrigues her since there is a lot of things we do not know about the brain to this day. She has grown up living a rough life and has been put in scenarios where she’s been forced to harden up. Due to this, Echo’s mind grew stronger and she learned that the only way for her to survive was to shape up mentally. This has made her intelligent and it has led to her exploring the behavior of other rpws and the way that they think. Because of her mind, she doesn’t quite think like most of them since she’s more “advanced” than them. It scares them quite a bit, but they have learned to deal with it since she does prove to be very helpful to them when they need it.

Kind

Echo is kind to everybody that she meets. Even though she is shunned for being tailless and having APGD, she has learned that anger and hatred does not do anything. She often smiles in her cave that she lives in whenever she sees visitors. In public, though, she sticks to only herself and doesn’t look like the happiest person on earth. All you have to do is approach her though and immediately she will light up! Grinning, giving you warm and fuzzy sensations, Echo loves to help others and make them happy however she can. She will only do it if you approach her first, for she isn’t one to approach others.

Adaptive

Because Echo has been put in many situations over the years, she has learned to adapt to her environment rather than mourn over the past. She firmly believes in moving on and not dwelling in it because she has witnessed it take over the minds of the few friends she had and has watched it corrupt them. It is also because it is the way to survive and Echo is a survivor. She does what she has to do to live, even though she may hate it sometimes. This is good though since if a big change ever occurs
in her life again, she will be ready for it.

Independent

If you couldn’t tell already, Echo is probably one of the more independent rpws that you will meet. Ever since she was a kit she has had to depend on nobody but herself. She struggled at first to figure out how she was going to hold up her own four legs, but she managed. Now she lives in a cave and makes medicines as well as study behaviors of others and the supernatural. If she ever lost everything, then she would not have a problem fixing everything up again by herself. Though, she may be a bit too independent. It is also because of this that not many people really want to have to do anything with her. But if you told her that you’ll do something for her, she won’t insist that she has to do it. She’ll gladly let you help her out with something if you offer or ask!

The lost pup whimpered as she made her way through the forest. At this time of night, it was forbidden for anyone else to go out. Somebody had been ordered to get rid of the pup since she was born without a tail. This was shunned and the small clan of rpws couldn’t afford to look weak compared to the rest of the clans because they had a tailless pup. They thought at first that she was just a little bit different and would soon grow a tail and produce paint so they kept her until she was big enough to start hunting a bit. Instead of killing her, though, they just left her out in the forest where they just assumed that a greater beast would come and scoop her away from society. The pup wandered around the dark and spooky place, pausing every now and then when an owl let out a loud “hoo!” or a branch fell from a tree. Fortunately for the pup, she found a nice and cozy hole in the tree to sleep in. A hole? Yes! She struggled for hours but eventually used her weak paws to climb up and into it. This was only the beginning of the life of Echo.

The young pup had quickly adapted to the abandoned area of the forest and learned to live on little prey. She learned neat tricks to lure in the mice and every now and then, a bird. Since she had no mother to eat the paint from, she had forced herself to get used to eating meat and fruits earlier than most rpws. She also took shelter a lot of the times in the little hole in the tree. As she grew older, she used that very tree’s roots to dig underneath it to keep herself warm. Echo was very content except for one thing. She didn’t understand why she was tailless. It led to her being confused when she experienced happiness such as catching bigger prey by herself and wanting to wag her tail except that she couldn’t. She also noticed that paint was oozing from her paws. Because it never came from her tail and since she was isolated and never learned about her kind, it really freaked her out at first. She often thought it was her own blood but figured it for herself that it was paint! Everywhere she went she left a blue trail of painted paws. Echo got used to it though and learned to actually like it! Though she had a suspicious feeling that she was a bit different.

One day a small number of rpws who were hunting together saw the trail and were bewildered when they found a trail of painted paws! Their curiosity got the best of them and they followed it. They found Echo and were even more bewildered and even scared to be faced with the horned, tailless, paw painted rpw. She immediately noticed that they all had tails that oozed paint and figured out that she was supposed to have a tail. Always having been lonely all her life, she convinced them to take her to their “pack.” Echo’s life got harder when she was “accepted” in the pack though. They all always gave her strange looks, threw insults at her, what really started to get to her though was the pups. Echo has always loved pups to pieces but when they whimpered and backed away from her, it was like a jab in the heart.

Echo didn’t want to leave though since she felt like she could be more useful there. So, she went exploring and found a cave a bit further away from the pack. She settled in there and decided to dedicate herself to making medicines to help the injured and sick rpws when plague would take over the forest. Slowly her reputation rose since she was the only one in the pack who was able to make them. She became known as the “healer of spirits.” They started to look at her as somebody who would give advice though, too. Occasionally the leader would walk in and would ask her for help. Lost rpws who have strayed from their path would wander in and seek guidance from the young woman as well. After a while Echo got bored with just making medicines though and decided to study the behaviors of other rpws. It greatly intrigued her and she often did little harmless “experiments.” This often involved her asking odd questions to see how they would react. She often writes it down and stashes it away deep in the cave where nobody has gone in. While stumbling upon a lost rpw, they had “gone over the edge” and had started mumbling about supernatural activities around the area. Echo was also intrigued by this and decided to study it as well. Studying the mind and making medicine as well as give advice is what Echo does mainly, but when she gets bored or sick of what she does then she often wanders off to find witnesses who have seen or met a demon, beast, ghost, or another type of supernatural being that may be possessing a rpw.

Now Echo is content since she has a higher power than those in her pack, though it has never been proven true. Since they are scared of her for what she does and her paws, they said that she communicates with spirits and they heal them through telling Echo what to use to make medicine to help them. This is all false, but because of this there has been a “power” that has sunk into the cave where she lives in, Echo is respected whenever she states an opinion and makes a rare appearance in their pack. This doesn’t mean that she automatically has a higher power than the leader, though! Mostly people still treat her like she is a shunned rpw, but she doesn’t care since she doesn’t go around the pack hardly at all. She lets people come to her now. To keep herself company, though, she has a small white owl! They get along really well and it’s been rumored that they speak to each other telepathically but that’s also false, though Echo likes to make people believe it is true. They just have a deep connection that nobody really understands and they just communicate through gestures and noises rather than words. Echo lets her fly during the night usually and is usually her “eye” so that way she can know what is going on in the forest. She hopes to one day find a “true love” who will love her for who she is, though if she doesn’t then she will be content with living with her owl for the rest of her life.

Echo has come to the term that the mutation was more of a blessing rather than a miracle. This is because it makes her different than everybody else. Even though everyone frowns upon her for her disorder, it has made her into the strongest rpw that she can be. It has also given her much wisdom, knowledge, and experiences that hardly anybody else would be able to tell you because of it. Echo has learned to just block out those who make fun of her and remains optimistic as much as she can in her head, for she feels like she was made for a purpose. That purpose is to show everyone that even a rpw with a disorder such as hers can be happy and can succeed in life. Because of this purpose she strives to prove all of them wrong. She aims to be even more successful than most of them, actually! So that way she can prove to them all that just because she is tailless or because she can’t grow paint naturally like the rest of society, it doesn’t mean that she can’t accomplish what they can-if not more than what they do. Echo plans to leave her “mark” or trail of paint on the world so that way others too, can look at her story and can be inspired to do the same as she did.
