I have a question for you all! What was the inspiration for your sona? If you don't have one yet, what are you thinking/what's your process on making them?

The inspiration for Alex was Zokia on youtube. They were a huge inspiration! I even re-created a ton of their artwork in my own style and sent it privately to them via email! they said it looked great <3 (i forgot what gender Zokia is so i just used they as in: They're so cool ^_^ or, Their artwork is fabulous <3)

Well, originally Sock was just an OC, my fursona at the time was a character that I found didn't really represent me the way I would like for people to view me. A couple of months after making her I realized that she represents me more than Stylus did so then I made the change. Sock was inspired by the base coat and my love of corgis, I added a paw on her shoulder for no reason, but I'm just gonna tell people it's bc I always loved animals. So that's basically the story of Sock my main fursona.

My second fursona Chihiro was created out of a joke, because I was in a skype call and I always laugh a lot when I talk to people bc everything is funny. I said to my friend I was skyping with something like "You should make me a hyena character." And he said "Sure, like your fursona?" I said "No, my alt. if you make this character I will make it my alt sona." And then he made it. I got really connected and just left her as my alt.

That's probably not how fursonas work but I don't really care, that's how I got mine and I'm not ashamed of it.

Alright, how I got my fursona Zayne.

I've been through many fursonas over the course of many years in the fandom. Including a Wolf, Cervines, Hybrids,
Blue Jays, Horse, Fox, Mutt and a Dragon. One day when I was making a new fursona I asked "If I was an animal
what animal could you see me as?" to both Furry friends & Non there were a few responses and I did a poll out of the
top 5 I liked (included the Spotted Hyena) out of about 25 people 23 agreed "Spotted Hyena" and that's how I got his
species. Shortly after I decided to have green in his design because it is my favourite colour, I also added blue feathers
because my mother loved Blue Jays & the colour Blue. He's a natural(ish) design because that's what I like.

@ Alex; That's so cool! I'm excited to see what he looks like!

@ Sock; That's interesting! I've never had my fursona be an oc, my Hev has always been the same guy (minus all the design/species changes). By the way, both designs and the art are lovely!

@ Sanity; I kinda went through the same thing with Hev. He was a cat, then alligator-dog, then wolf, then unknown beast, and now he's a genetically modified organism. But that's really cool! I like how you added special things in to really make them yours.

Mk, so how did I come up with my Hev? Well like I said above he was a multitude of many different species and had many different designs over the past 8 years, and even going my the name Red at one time in the very beginning. But now I came up with his design with my love for SCP. I wanted a non-sparkle dog character with a genetic twist. This my baby was born. His info can be found under the picture if you're interested, it's not finished but there is stuff there.

Okay I was at band practice and I ran into the school pool for the bathroom. The teen running the counter and I struck up a conversation... And he was a furry! He showed me a pic of his fursuit, and he goes to cons and stuff! It was epiiiic. He was happy I knew what a furry was. Finally some good real life furry experiences.

How long Have you Been in the Fandom? How did you find out about the fandom?: I joined an art community called drawcast, and seen people drawing anthropomorphic animals, so I started trying to do the same, since I cannot draw people for the life of me. Somebody then labeled me as a furry, not in an offensive manner of course. I had no knowledge of what it actually was, and looked it up. I've been furry trash since that day about two years ago.

I have a few fursonas actually, but 3 main ones ^^;

My inspiration for Squadrick (maned wolf) was my art-class assignment. We had to draw something you can observe in real life, and i went to a zoo and saw a maned wolf there. I love them! He was just a normal grey-wolf at first, but i decided to change him into a maned wolf. Also, he is inspired by what i would like to be c: Some sort of me, but less flawed

For lizard fursona (without name, aaah) my argonian character in both skyrim and the elder scrolls online were an inspiration! I love argonians a lot, they're my favorite race to play as. I also like lizards a lot, so i made some mix of the two c:

My last fursona is Deimos (Mora), a sergal. Someone told me about sergals so i went to look them up and fell in love! But i can't decide on what color i want him to be so i'm still in mayor development D: I have looked at other sergals for inspiration, but it's hard to decide what to do. I'm not that good with my drawing tablet so making an acual drawing with colors is really hard. His whole personality is based on my flaws, he is a very flawed character
