Pantherstar used to be panthersong. When she was a kit, she stumbled into ashclan covered in cuts and bruises. She was taken in and given a place in the clan. One day, she was searching the woods when she came upon two kits in a tree hollow. The kits were shivering and their names were Heather and smoke. Afraid the clan wouldn't accept them, panthersong told the clan they were hers and never told anyone who their "father" was. Later on, she went on the quest with the other cats to unite the great clans. When they got back, embers tat was very sick, and she improperly made Pantherstar the new leader, and Pantherstar made rockfoot her deputy.
