Hunter snarled at the dark bengal tom's face, the taste of blood thick in his mouth. He couldn't keep his grip onto the tom, so he staggered away after the tom wriggled out of his pin. He snarled, his voice more of a gargle of liquids than an actual snarl in the end, blood splattering on the ground in front of him.

He felt his legs shake with the effort of just standing. He felt the stinging of his throat overpowering the adrenaline hat he felt a moment ago, and he finally felt his haunches fall to the ground. He vainly continued to try to keep his eyes up and looking at the dark tom, his head drooping and his eyes blurring. He couldn't even feel his tears streaming down his face, all he could recognize was the dark figure of the tom in front of him and the empty cries of battle drowning in his ears.

He gave a weak smile as he felt his torso drop, the spread of warmth pooling under him as it leaked from his body. he gave a few more kicks and tried to pull himself closer to the tom, his claws reaching out to the figure. His mind felt oddly blank, but comfortable with the idea that he was dying.
