Step 1: Grab a tannish color (like the one used in step 1 image) and click where you want your moon to be. (Skip to step 3 for full moon, do step 2 then step 3 for different moon stages.)
Step 2: Get black, or the color of your background, and click a certain part of the moon to make stages.
Step 3: Use airbrush to get a glow effect!
