Okay so yes, she has a staff but no, she is not a witch or wizard.
She has some "magic" qualities or tricks so to speak.
She uses her staff mainly as a weapon much like a sword or dagger but does not aim to kill.
Her staff can either be tucked into her belt buckle and held that way or float beside her depending on her preference.
The staff is super light weight, almost no weight at all but when used as a weapon it gains it's weight through contact.
She is a rogue or wanderer. She was forced to flee her home after a tyrant king came in and took power....
