I have a friend and she is not
Much of a fake fan but she lies about a lot to get you to like or be jealous of her. She'll say stuff like:
I've met Billie Joe Armstrong
I've touched Pete Wentz foot
I've been to see Fall Out Boy and MCR
But honestly, we all know she's lying because she sent us a video of her singing and it sounded nothing like her and we found it in YouTube and it wasn't her.

the girl i know would totally lie like that, tbh. no matter what she does, she attempts to reference/talk about something i like, or something my friends like. most of the time it's bands, and it's really sad at this point (as i mentioned)

she'll always sing one line from a fall out boy song, and only one, which happens to be "you will remember me for centuries"

tbh theres a lot of people at my school who are very very big enthusiasts about the music i listen to, and actually get references and can make funny band puns and im just over here "hi i like bands and food" and make causal band puns and then i get overwhelmed by people telling me that i dont get refs to band related things, when in reality i do, but i just keep my mouth shut bc i dont want them pestering me because i don't know eeeeeeeverything and they would try and tell me things i already know in condescending tones and i just want to sc r e a m at the top of my lu n g s when that happens haha i did it again with song refs lmao im so done with myself

if none of that makes sense please excuse me, i'm going on coffee overload and it's 4;20 am and i've been up for like 24 hours and eaten a lot of chocolate covered things nutella out of the container mostly
