And you could call it a Gamble,
--------------
g a m b l e
--------------
But I call it life.
With his new name set in place, Gamble's head was spinning. He was back in the cage, on his back, paws in the air, looking out at the other dogs who seemed to think he was 'high'. After just eating something that had tasted terribly, it wasn't hard to see himself replaying the moment of his life that just happened a meer second ago.
With his ears so floppy, they fell to the concrete. Instantly his body was trying to get rid of the item making him woozy, so he stood and his body began to shake, "I don't feel so good, ya' know. Maybe I could-" before he could finish, he vomited up a little pill that left a nasty taste setting on his tongue. He looked at it, "Oh so that blue thing is what is doing that then. Maybe they'll take me and get me out of here for free and put me in a park while they clean it."
Although they didn't put him in a park, th young brute was taken out for cleaning. He was tied outside, the perfect opportunity for a loony dog to go wandering off into the street. He looked at the rope, taking his paw and slamming it to the ground over the rope, which dragged him along with it, "Ow my head. Stupid rope." He bit it as it surprisingly snapped in two and the rope slipped over his head as it fell apart. Finally, the chance he had been waiting for.
Shaking his head, he looked over to see a young cocker spaniel looking fae, "Hello?" You could say being high is a weird thing for a dog, but walking into the street still wasn't the smartest thing for him to do. He looked at the truck who was honking at him, slamming on the brakes trying to not hit the small dog. He looked back at the fae and ran after her, crossing the street, "Howdy I'm cowboy Gamble. What's yer busyness here."
{I purposely spelled business wrong, by the way.}

The girl you just called fat...she's overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly... she spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped... he is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars... he fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying... his mother is dying. Put this as your status if your against bullying.

( I'm assuming it's Jess? x3 )
Jess raised her head quickly and whipped it round to face the road as she heard the screech of brakes, and then the loud, unpleasant sound of an angry horn. She pinned her ears back and watched with wide eyes as another dog attempted to cross the street, only just avoiding being hit by a truck. She looked sideways at him as he stopped beside her, "I'm Jess, nice to meet you Cowboy Gamble," She smiled, raising herself to her paws and looking him over. "I don't have any business here. I'm just a stray trying to stay alive, I guess..." She shrugged, her smile becoming broader as she noticed his weird way of speaking, "Are you alright?" She asked him, slight concern evident on her face. He wasn't injured, so it probably wasn't anything major... Maybe he'd just eaten curry, that tended to send her slightly off her rocker for a few hours. But then again, he didn't really seem very street-wise at all. She tilted her head, pondering on her thoughts, but still keeping her gaze on Gamble.

Gamble's head hurt with a headache. "Oh, erm I'm not cowboy Gamble. I'm Gamble and I hail from the land called 'pound'. All I remember is eatin' something nasty." he barked, swaying back and forth. The dog wasn't very big, but he stood tall over the small spaniel in front of himself.
His ears went back, "No, I don't feel okay. I feel weirdo..." He fell sideward, not really reacting until after a moment of being on the ground. He looked up at the spaniel, "Yer pretty little miss." He giggled, something that only the most powerful of medications could make a dog act in such a manner. His paw lifted and he looked at it, barking, "Sit yer butt dog, I ain't done talkin' to yer mister."
{Yeah, sorry about that. He's gonna be knocked out after all of this.

( xDD Poor Gamble. <3 )
Jess' eyes widened and she looked at him in shock, "The pound? What did you eat?" She demanded, leaning forwards. She had heard of the horrors of the pound, how they... Destroyed the dogs. She flinched, then let out a heavy sigh. She watched him swaying, stepping back slightly, so that if he fell, at least she wouldn't be pinned down as well. As he fell to the ground, she moved forwards to stand next to him, laughing lightly at his words, and his giggling. She rolled her eyes, looking down at him on the ground, "Just stop speaking until your mind is clear... You don't want to have to take anything back, do you?" She grinned, looking around for humans. This wasn't the best place for Gamble to collapse. She frowned, circling round him until she was stood nearer the road and she sat, deciding to keep watch. She flicked one ear back to listen to the dog's ramblings.

The brute's eyes trailed her as she told him to not speak, "I think I gotta go swimming!" He stood and shook himself off, walking unstabley towards the blue water, "It's so blue it hurts. Omg! I heard a song once, it went 'I'm too sexy for my biscuits. Oh so sexy it hurts. Yer know it?" He lied down on the sand before getting hit in the face with a wave.
Well, you could say that woke him up. He stood up quickly and shook his head rapidly, "Ah! It burns so much!" He opened his eyes and blinked a couple of times, looking back at the fae, "Is it bad? Are my eyes red 'cause they sure do sting."
{I know, I'm mean to him. Oh, so mean. *stops spamming* After this I'll wait awhile before posting with him again.}

:II I z o k u II:
Sometimes life takes you away
It snatches your breath
Izoku stopped, ears high in the air as he stared at the two dogs near the water. He opened ihis mouth in a snarl, voicing his thoughts without sound. What are they doing?!. He was a bit larger than the male dog, and he was definitely larger than the female. Not too mention he looked more wolf than dog.
They'll be spotted by humans! He thought with anger, his anger showing through his vicious snarl. But despite his cold and rude act, he was deeply concerned. It was the stray's life, one for all and all for one. But he couldn't help but feel worried about these two. Humans wouldn't fear to put them in cages.
Humans wouldn't fear to hurt them. They would Izoku too, but their was too much wolf blood in him.

KillerAs we walk among these shadows, in these streets, this field of battle.
Take it up, we wear the medal, raise your hands with burning candles. Killer sat, his mouth chewing on air while he took in what Sloan said. After realizing that he was still on the ground, Killer simple lowered his hindquarters and laid down in front of Sloan, "What? Leon? Who's Leon?" Killer looked behind him to make sure no other dogs where there before turning back to the Akbash with his head tilted and a skeptical look in his eye, "Are.. You okay? I mean.. If your brain okay? Are you seeing floating pigs and bacon? Or just.. Hearing things?" Killer hadn't a clue what it was like to be crazy, seeing that he refused to admit that he himself had a few loose screws, so he simple made things up as he spoke, hoping he sounded smart. "Sloan? That's nice." Killer's eyes traveled to the trash can behind to large dog then back up to him, "Anyways, if you're looking for food, you're looking in the wrong place entirely. For food, you look near the food places.. Not random alleys." Killer laughed again as he stood and began to trot down an alley, toward the main road again, "Follow me, Leon knows the way to some great food places." While Killer continued to trot down the alley, another little outbreak took his body over. This one was much shorter then the previous two or three, and it simply ended with Killer running into a brick wall head-first. With a few confused growls rumbling in his chest, Killer stumbled down the alley, rather slowly, occasionally falling over and pulling himself back up with a laugh or two.((Sorry it took so long to reply. ^^;))

Jess trotted lightly after Gamble, her tail wagging slightly as she eyed the waves. "No I haven't. I can imagine how it goes, though." She laughed, sitting back on her haunches as he lay down. She giggled, looking away quickly as he was hit by a wave. She skittered backwards to avoid it, then watched his antics. She looked at his face closely, then stepped away again, "Nope, your face is the same as when you started," Feeling a gaze on her, she twisted her head round to look up the beach, one paw raised. She spotted a wolf-like dog, it's muzzle wrinkled in a snarl. Jess flattened her ears, letting out a loud bark as she stared defiantly at the other dog. She turned her head slightly so she she could look at Gamble out of the corner of her eye, "We have company, d'you want to go?" She asked him, looking for an escape route that didn't involve a road.

But I call it life.
Gamble's eyes went to the much larger wolf-dog on the peir, "Uh, maybe we could possibly stay in two? Ah, you can't leave me out here, I'll die within a day." he turned to talk to himself, "Interresting how you could go from a loving human family to the pound to the streets in one day, don't ya' think, Gam?"
Shaking his pelt of the water, he trotted toward the spaniel, "We could take him, but not really take him. I'm no fighter, just a comedian, know what I mean?" His ears perked up, his green eyes meeting hers. She had a soft look in her eyes, something that had to be a clue to her personality. He gave a goofy, half-hearted smile before looking behind her. The humans were looking for him again, "Uh-oh. We gotta go, ya' know the humans are after me 'cause of my walk. They seem to love my looks."
He turned, posing stiffly to make a point. His golden pelt was framed nicely on the beach scene, "Hey! Maybe we could team up with the wolf! Come one." He turned, running off towards the peir.
Word Count:: One hundred ninety-one.

Blake smiled at Jude, before taking one last look behind him, checking the coast was clear. A few humans wandered aimlessly along the sand, some splashed in the ocean, while others just lay there, doing nothing. How boring. Blake thought, what's the point in being at the beach if you're not going to run and play in the sea? You may aswell just stay at home. Humans were a mystery sometimes. Once he'd made sure that no one was watching, or running towards them, Blake followed Jude up, careful not to crowd the girls.
"This is a good spot, Tia, we should be fine here." For now. Blake said, finishing it off in his head.
