SpottedLeap directed her green gaze to the young she-cat. She herself was curious as to what the medicine cats were stocking up on for winter. Maybe they wanted extra catmint in case green cough came back again? With all her attention on the apprentice. SpottedLeap didn't notice the trailing bramble on the path until her paw came in contact with it moments later. "Ow!" She yelped, drawing up her paw quickly. It wasn't bad, but a thorn was wedged inside her paw pad. "Mouse dung!" She cursed, going to pull it out.

Graywhisker stopped as soon as he heard Spottedleap yelp. He then directed his gaze to the bramble and back to Spottedleap's paw. "Are you okay?" Graywhisker asked nervously.

Breezepaw made his way over to Heronwing by the camp entrance. "Yes Heronwing? " he replied, dipping his head in respect toward his mentor.

Sunstrike nodded, and replied, "Of course! Do you know where Stormtail is?" She turned and asked Sootnose, who was next to her. "I woke up late this morning. Once we get everybody, we can go. Icestar, do you want me to take Cinderpaw? We could go off and do some hunting after the patrol, as she hasn't gone out yet today."

Sootnose shot a quick glance around the camp as Sunstrike asked him of the whereabouts of Stormtail. After a brief moment he spotted the grey tom standing around the middle of camp and flicked his tail in his direction. "Right over there," he mewed before raising his voice and calling, "Stormtail!"

Swanfoot flicked her tail in greeting. "Hello." she said, quietly. Swanfoot looked down at her paws, uncomfortable about all of the cats being around her. What if I say something weird or make a mistake? What will I do then?

"I can't remember when I was a kit, but I'm sure that I played in the snow." Ravenclaw said quietly. He took a deep breath and looked up again. "Did you play in the snow as a kit?" he asked, trying to brighten the mood again.

Ambertail smiled a little more when he asked this. Though she was the only kit in her litter, she still loved to play in the snow with her parents and the other kits. "Yes I did. It was very fun when I was little, my mother always worried about me getting sick though" Ambertail recalled.

SpottedLeap flinched, pulling out the thorn with her teeth and spitting it on the ground. "I'm fine." she commented, lapping away a small bead of blood the welled in the scratch. "Just clumsy."
