But I'm here to talk about gemsonas and what not
I think we should make a gem sona rp, about like being a gem in hiding <3 but I'll also rant about my gemsonas plan.

So I was born in November, so my babe is gonna be cytrine, a green, orange, and yellow gem that is really nice and clear. She's still sane, but barely. She's been alone too long, hiding out in Canada where she can be mellow. She's a farm girl, loves her cows and goats and rabbits that live on her acreage. Her favourite form is that of a cow, so she is constantly moving in forests, trying to get home. While she loves earth, she's still one of the makers of the cluster, and works there when she isn't on herfarm. She's a kind kindergartner who actually has her own warp pad home, something many would die for.

i wish i could make a gemsona based off of my birthstone but i was born in april, which is diamond, so i don't think that could work out ;-; unless there's other birthstones for april that aren't already in the show i guess

Thanks, yes she is fool's gold (her passing as a human, thus lying about her species, is kinda a reference to the fooling part), yes she is a she

Hey guys, this is one of my gem OCs, Pyrite. She lives among humans in a small town in Flint Hills, and goes by the name "Lauren" to keep people from finding out that she's a gem. She does that because she doesn't wanna have to deal with legal issues associated with not being human. note: the thing sticking out of her vest is a tie which she is wearing incorrectly, hence it being bunched up weirdly

When introducing herself to humans, she says her full name is "Lauren Z. Pyrite". I chose that name because of Lauren Zuke, that one storyboard artist for SU who draws Amethyst with super floofy hair. Lauren Zuke is amazing.

I plan to tell Pyrite's full backstory in an oekaki comic, so don't ask about it yet please. (can't start it yet anyway because I can't figure out how to get pen pressure to work on the oekaki!)

How does she look?

Hi Hohki, I think that sounds really good. I love how you referenced Lauren Duke in your character.
I can't wait to read your comics! I will faithfully await them!

I wasn't really thinking about it being an iron sulfide at the time I chose the mineral for her lol. Any mineral is fair game as far as I know, and I thought Pyrite was less likely to become a canon gem. Just in case a pyrite happens in canon, her backstory is specifically set up so that she's already not doing what pyrites are made for and there's an explanation for it and everything already sorted out.

You may have to wait a while for the comics, because as I said, I can't figure out how to get pen pressure to work on oekaki.

Gosh, I love her and how she is trying to hide that she is a gem. Very nice work!
