"Yea-", Mary's sentence was cut off by the blaring alarm of the building. "What the hell is that!?"

He sighed. "I'll fix you up and then we can go and figure out what's happening. Got it?"

"Sure..." Mary went silent, looking around once again.

Using her telekinesis, she ripped the barricade down and flung it towards the soldiers. "Let's go!" she said and started running.

Xile burst into a full out run, not even fazed by what had happened. He ran like there was no tomorrow.
